Lightning Pools & Pavers

"Lightning Pools installed our pool 4 years ago, it was a nightmare then and it's still a nightmare now. I didn't leave a review at the time because it was such a horrible experience and so contentious I just wanted to forget it. Every pool professional I have had out here since has been in shock about how horrible the Install was done. In the last 4 years we have replaced multiple peices of equipment in order to make the pool usable. Read all the bad reviews here and do yourself a favor and believe them. I'm not sure how these people sleep at night knowing they take people's money and don't have the staffing or expertise to install a pool correctly."

"We had our old pool removed and put in a new pool with spa and have had nothing but problems with this company! They do not communicate well and never did anything in the time frame we were given throughout the process. Our biggest issue was our spill over waterfall from the spa into the pool not working correctly. We complained for almost 6 months before anything was done about not having a clean waterfall. It kept breaking up (see attached picture) and would not flow correctly. First they told us the pump they installed may have been too small so they tried to say we needed to pay for a larger more efficient one but we refused because it was their mistake in the quote. Then they decided the way they installed the granite, in 3 separate pieces, was making the waterfall not function correctly because of the grout that continues to disintegrate. (I was unhappy with the granite from the time it was installed because as you can see in the pictures, there is one piece that doesn't match the other two.) So we were then told to go to a granite company and pick out a piece of granite that they would measure and cut out ONE rounded piece of granite to fit and replace the 3 pieces we had. The way it should've been done in the first place! Then we waited and waited only to be told 2 months later that we have to pay $400 for them to switch it out! If you want your pool done right, I recommend finding a different company!"

"Hey we built a pool with Lightning a year ago. It was a long but amazing process with lots of crews. Morgan was our sales rep, he was great working with my wife and I to create the pool we wanted. Thanks for not trying to talk us into a tiny 'bananna' shaped pool like most of the other companies out there. John was the project manager and he was awesome. He always answered/returned my calls quickly and really helped keep me calm. He was able to reschedule things quickly when we needed to. He was great at handling my last minute changes and always had a realistic and thoughtful answer to my questions. I would use them again and I recommend them. Also they stood behind their pool and honored the warranty call (something minor) and finished all the 'punch list' items at the end. Thanks guys !"

"Following up with Ryan's review, attached are a few pictures. We have had the pool completed since Thanksgiving weekend, and use it at least 3 times a week, sometimes more. especially the spa! Our daughter loves the pool, and now can swim the entire pool (she is 2), Thank you Lightning Pools for helping our dreams come true."

"Over the past few days we've had our pool deck redone by Lightning. From the beginning of the process they've been very helpful and easy to deal with. When Morgan first came out he suggested a few websites to check for different paver combinations to choose from. The only thing that held the project up were the delivery of the pavers (out of their hands) and the weather (really out of their hands). Once the project started John kept us updated and the three-man crew worked tirelessly from start to finish (even pressing on through a drizzly morning). In the end John did the final walk through and answered all of our questions. Thanks for a positive experience!"
