"Amberlea Park provides a playground experience primarily designed for older kids who enjoy climbing and active play. While the lack of fencing or gates around the playground is a drawback, the park's placement away from the road helps mitigate safety concerns. One downside is the limited parking situation, essentially a niche in the grass with overgrown gravel, which may be inconvenient for visitors. The absence of restrooms is another consideration for families planning a longer stay. On a positive note, the park's natural beauty shines through with its huge, majestic trees providing ample shade, making it comfortable for both children and onlookers, especially on sunny days. The massive playground structure offers various opportunities for older kids to engage in active play, making it a great spot for energetic youngsters. Overall, Amberlea Park is a pleasant outdoor destination, especially if you're looking for a playground suitable for older kids, but it may require some adjustments in terms of parking and restroom facilities for a more comfortable visit."

"It's a nice park to find tucked away in a friendly neighborhood. It had a decently manicured field, and the equipment was a good break from the cookie-cutter plastic playgrounds you find everywhere else. Ooh, wait... now I want a cookie. If I find one, you'll find me eating it here, because it's, again, quite a fine park. Good snack spot. But... I'll probably eat it fairly quickly when I find it... I'm not sure how long I'll even stay after I eat it, not to mention how long it'll take to locate a cookie. Tbh, you'll have to just hang out in the park for a while and wait there if you wanna meet up for snacks. Anyway, who are you again? What did you want? Oh, well, never mind. Go play on the swings for me. It's a nice day out, enjoy it."

"Very nice park lots of trees and shade. It’s a neighborhood park so there isn’t any water fountains or bathrooms. The design is very unique, set us for intermediate to advanced climbers. They have a smaller playground for kids who can’t climb as well though."

"Tons of shade. Dogs okay on a leash. Really cool obstacle-course type of playground with swings. They also have a smaller playground for little ones. Big field with trees to play in also. Great place for a picnic."

"Nice little park. The centerpiece of the park is a children playground. There is a lot of shadow, so it’s comfortable to play there even in a hot day. There are several benches and picnic tables. It’s a nice park to come with kids or to have a lunch outside."
