Additionally, he hires wonderful people—Libby did a great job teaching us during our pool dives. "This is a great dive shop for a few simple reasons: 1). Scott, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable without being smarmy about it, plus he's a great teacher, i.e. patient! 2). Scott is honest, ethical and straight forward. He doesn't try to sell you something as the main thrust of his relationship with you the customer. 3). When weather cancelled part of a dive trip, Scott was more than fair about credit and/or refunding money, even without asking. I'd recommend this shop for any level of instruction or scuba diving need."
"Best Dive Shop in the Tampa area. One weekend trip got canceled due to weather and when I brought my equipment and tanks back un-used Scott gave me a full credit towards my next trip. I didn't even mention if a credit was even a possibility, Scott just did it. Scott and WOW is a place I would recommend to anyone, for certifications and/or equipment rentals. They have the best prices on rental equipment for weekend trips I've seen in the area. 10 Star Rating."
"Scott and his co-instructor Libby were very professional and extremely accommodating. I took the Open Water Certification class with my two teenage sons, and we were on a short schedule due to an upcoming dive trip. Scott was able to work with our schedule to get us through the class very efficiently, quickly, and completely. He was very thorough and hit all the important points of the class in a straightforward way that was easy for us to grasp. He has been in the business since the 1970s, and he has definitely kept his passion for teaching the sport! I would recommend him to anyone."
