"The park is very nice and clean. It is well kept and the locations is very nice. There are sweet and kind people that come to the park. My only complaint is that some Dog owners do not know or understand their pets behaviors. You cannot pick Your dog’s friends for them. You cannot control every natural activity that they do. Dogs bark, jump, run, make silly noises, etc. life happens! I appreciate that everyone is attentive and want to keep the park poop free but nobody needs the poop police blowing the whistle every time a dog goes. Other than that it’s just a great place for all dogs to be."

"The park itself is a good size. No running water so lots of dirty bowls, best to bring your own. The small dog section is up to 30lbs and people push that all the time. I've been here with a foster large dog and more recently with my puppy. The people just aren't that nice and my puppy was attacked by a little dog that wasn't socialized. My puppy does nothing but surrender and this dog wouldn't stop going after her. We didn't stay. She's the sweetest and I didn't want her traumatized. There doesn't seem to be a group of responsible regulars to help make it a good, safe group to play with. You find that in a lot of other parks, a regular "pack" that keeps all the pups in line. Any people I've seen more than once just sit on a bench and ignore the dogs. It's worth the extra drive to somewhere else. We've had wonderful experiences at John Chestnut and Eagle Lake."

"Has large and small dog sides. About 85 percent of pet parents were attentive and cleaning up after their dog. Has shade trees, benches, pools, water bowls. Mulch kept getting in my sandals so I plan to wear sneaks there in the future. Lots of parking. Friendly place."

"Took our 75 lb pup to the big dog side of this park and it is amazing- tons of benches plus picnic tables, water bowls all over, a dog pool you can fill up, shade, a tunnel and agility poles, and super friendly dog owners. It seems like the small dog side is busier and we were the only dog in the big dog side for a while. But soon there were a few other dogs and the nicest dog owners. I like that the park isn’t huge so that I can always see my dog. Lots of room to run though."

"I think it's the best Dog Park in Dunedin. It has two large separate sections for small and big dogs. Has picnic tables, several benches and shaded areas. There's plenty of free space for running and getting to know other dogs and there's handy hoses installed for water bowels or doggie pool use. The easy in-and-out gates make it stress free."
