"Nice tucked away campground, considered primitive. No water, electric or sewer. The sites were pretty close to one another, but it was ok. Nice hiking trail for bikes, walking or horse back. There was a pit toilet, but I did not check it out."

"Nice campground. Shady, beautiful oaks, Lots of leaves. Bring a rake. Road in had it's share of potholes. Vault toilet useable. Lots of tails to hike or ride. One homeless family living in tents. Dogs at several sites."

"Really nice campground! Lots of space, picnic tables and fire rings everywhere. Non-potable water at many campsites. Shady. Trails all marked well with numbers so you know exactly where you are. We were the only equine campers the rest were tent and riders but wasn't crowded. We wanted to stay another night but the reservation will not let you reserve additional night without a gape of 1 day."

"I spent 2 hours picking up trash. You may not get a picnic table because of taking all to their site. Loud drinking party's past midnight. I guess the area don't get checked after 8pm and weekends. And sometimes you may not get your reserved campsite, because of so many people. It needs a camp host and a check in and out system. A lot angry campers in the morning. I would have a backup place."

"Great park, on this second week of August had the park to myself... Lots of great trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding... Head to the ponds to check out the alligators, watch the hawks soar overhead. Campground has picnic tables, fire pits and hitching posts for your ponies... Deduct one star due to the terrible shape of the restroom and trash in all the fire pits..."
