Dustin's Bar-B-Q

"Ladies Life Group from church met for dinner and our server Sierra was awesome. There was 10 of us and everything was great. We also celebrated a birthday and the staff all joined in."

"I miss good salad bars that were once commonplace. Tonight, we found a good one at Dustin's. And the menu has a combination where a portion of meat comes with the salad bar. We love bargains and thought this was a good deal. Considering that the items on the salad bar were fresh and tasty, it was a great deal. The restaurant reminded us of the Sonny's chain and may have been that at one time. This one was clean and bright inside. There were live plants that hung in the dining room above the tables, adding to the ambiance. Service at Dustin's was friendly and efficient too. Our waitress kept our drinks filled and checked with us often. This was our first visit to Dustin's and will be back next time we are nearby."

"First time here & really wasn't too impressed. Actually, we're pretty disappointed. It smelled GREAT outside, maybe they're using BK's technique of pumping the smell outside to draw you in?? When we walked in, we weren't acknowledged. Okay, we can kinda look past that a little. Since it was our first time there (hubby told her), we asked the waitress about portion size. She gave us a look like we were completely crazy & said, "what do you mean?" in a bit of a rude tone. We reminded her it was our first time & that some places are heavy handed & others aren't. She gave us another weird look & said, "normal?" Okay, whatever. We ordered, my food was BARELY warm. The butter didn't REMOTELY melt on my corn on the cob or toasted bread, it just stood there. My sliced pork's temperature was barely safe to eat. My husband's? He nearly burnt his mouth because all of his food was hot... The way it should be. We compared our quality of service to the rest of the place & it was NOT the same (same waitress). When she gave us the check, she didn't say anything & didn't know we had to pay up front, she never told us. I reminded her that we didn't know where to pay because again, it was our first time there. Others were offered to-go drinks (same waitress) & we weren't. We're NOT going back again. We'll stick with Sonny's BBQ......"

"We've been to Dustin's several times since moving to the area. They're always consistent, prices are reasonable and portions are good. I enjoy their pulled pork sandwich on garlic toast. They have great coleslaw and baked beans."

"Sundays after church are always busy at Dustin’s, so our poor waitress was running around like crazy. For that reason, service was a little slow, but it wasn’t our server’s fault. Baby back ribs were tender and juicy according to Mom and her friend. Hubby and I are vegetarian, so we had the salad bar, which has enough items to be satisfying. Dessert was a choice between raspberry or key lime cheesecake, which was a nice ending for Mom’s birthday dinner!"
