"Visited around 8pm and the only registers that were open were the self-checkouts. I already don't like grocery shopping, but now I have to do your job too? So I get off my job, go grocery shopping and still have to work at the Winn Dixie?! Not interested! I called over one of the other employees standing around and asked if she would open a register and was told, "no. The only registers open are the self checkouts." So I asked if she could service my groceries and check me out at the checkout register then. I received a little resistance. Eventually, she went ahead and did as I asked. Please have at least one regular register open until closing. Not everyone prefers the self checkout option."

"Had never been to a Winn-Dixie but was pleasantly surprised by both the selection and the prices. It's 30 seconds from my house so it makes it super convenient and the staff are all very pleasant. That being said, I usually buy my produce, dairy products, and meats from other places."

"11/18/2023 UPDATE 2: My review appears to have helped bring workers to the registers. I will not be changing my star rating however until I have verified that workers are staying on registers, and this isn't just for publicity. 10/26/2023 UPDATE: I never thought I would be reversing a 5-star review of a grocery store to a 1-star, so I need to explain. This store has gone from being full service, to "exclusively self-checkout". You read that right, EXCLUSIVELY self-checkout. No human beings at a counter except one floating island service desk. That's it. If you are going from full service with cashier, and bagging, to absolutely nothing other than "do it myself", the least you can do is offer a discount on prices, since you're not paying the staff to do it otherwise. That's not normal behavior and should not be normalized in any way. The quality of the meats as well has gone done quite considerably. At this point I break up my grocery store purchases between Aldi's and Publix on 19, because this store is just so otherwise useless now. I seriously don't think they understand that going fully self-checkout was such a horrible idea. Couldn't have been a worse area to do it too, where most of the customers are elderly and DO NOT UNDERSTAND how to use the registers. I seriously feel bad for the customers who struggle with them, and now point them at least to the WinnDixie on 54, as it is still full service. So with that, I don't recommend giving this location any more money. It's gone quite downhill in the span of just months."

"Yet again only one lane open, and the line way too long to wait. So here I am forced to ring out my own groceries. Every-time I have to ring out my own groceries I end up needing to wait for help because it didn’t recognize my item in the bagging area. These machines are great if you only have a few things, and want to run in an out real quick. They should not be a replacement for customer service. It’s a Sunday, you should have a min of 3 cashiers working."
