"Really beautiful trail, I saw many great birds, even bald eagle But please please please, be careful, so many ticks. My dog was covered in them and we followed the marked path, did not wonder I had 5 on me and 40+ on him. Bring your spray, make sure your dog is on meds and prevention."
"I’ve been hiking this sandy 2 mile in and out trail for many years. It’s an infrequently used trail but full of wonderful flora and fauna. Beautiful wildflowers in the spring and fall. A nice little kettle pond that supplies the water for a deer herd. But don’t try it in July thru September, broiling hot."
