We normally do our own pool maintenance, but recently we went away for an extended stay out of state and Monica was able to help get someone out at a reasonable time to take care of our pool that was turning green. "These people here are very informative and helpful. Almost everyone at this location was helpful along the process in installing our pool heater. We bought a pool heater on Christmas Eve, and it was installed and running within a week, which is fast considering the holiday week. Eric, one of their pool technicians took the time to educate me on controlling the pool valves to be able to heat the spa vs. heating both pool and spa. Juan came out an earlier time and informed my friend. Eric took the time to teach me again to ensure I knew what I was doing. I highly recommend Miramar Pinch-A-Penny for your pool needs. "Juan, Rebecca, and the entire staff at this Pinch A Penny store always give superior customer service! After we built our new pool two years ago, we have used them for our weekly pool service. They are extremely reliable and do an excellent job! This summer our pool began developing dark streaks covering the bottom of the pool. Juan brought a pool surface expert to our house. They determined the problem and began treating it immediately. Juan personally stayed on top of the process. Our pool is back to being beautiful!! Thanks Juan!!"

"I'm a big believer in supporting family-owned businesses and franchises. I have been a customer of this Pinch A Penny store since it opened and have had many a pleasant conversations with the owner. I just cancelled my pool service with them due to a few issues I'd been having, the last straw being when the back door to my patio was broken and a chair I had left inside my screen enclosure had been moved and left outside. I had given this store the benefit of the doubt, and chalked up the issues I had to the problems that most small business owners have, but it was a little bit too much lately. What perhaps saddens me the most is that when I called to cancel, the person who took my cancellation order didn't even bother to ask why I was canceling. She simply took my information, said she'd issue a refund for two weeks and hung up."

"This is a family and complete store, very clean, air conditioned and no chlorine smells. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Staffed enough that you don't have to wait to be serviced. They even take your chlorine jugs to your car if you need help. They repair pool pumps and replace motors in premise withing minutes. Prices are very good too. They test your pool water for free in minutes. They speak English and Spanish as well. This store has been in the West Miramar location for a few years and the way they treat their customers is superb. They are here for the long. Well done!"
