"I’m sorry, but this place has just gotten terrible. I moved to Apopka a year ago and this place is very close to me. At first the manager or owner (or whoever) was always there when I was there and he seemed to know his stuff. Lately though (I would say the past 4 or 5 months) it has been a revolving door of less-than-stellar employees. I try to go when it’s people I know are there, but I don’t think the schedules are consistent or everyone calls out. Today, it was the worst I’ve seen it. The one middle-aged shorter lady who is always there (and can never find her glasses to see what she is doing) still miraculously cannot work the computer or printer. There was a new girl who probably should never have gotten this job was doing testing on day two unsupervised. I didn’t want to be rude so I let her manually fill out my sheet and then went back home to test it myself. Before this girl, there was a bum looking skinny guy who always wore that stupid hat made famous from Caddy Shack. I think the issue with this place is no one can afford to work for $13/hr anymore. McDonalds pays more than that. If it was a great place to work, I’m sure people would stay, but most of the employees I deal with just are unprofessional. There are also very few people working here who can give any “pool advice” (it says they can on their signs in the store). How can employees who have never actually worked on a pool or even worked for more than 1 week know anything about the issues people are facing with pools? Answer: they cannot. Also, all the business is done on a cell phone with it on speaker. It comes across less than professional, to be it lightly. And talking to their employees on speakerphone or talking to their family or whoever, while waiting on a customer is so off putting. In summary, I believe I’m just done giving this place money. Everything is way overpriced except maybe liquid chlorine. I don’t trust that they’re testing my pool water correctly (and they still have some tests that I don’t have). The employees are unprofessional, complain about their jobs, and talk on speakerphone all the time. This place sorely needs a new owner. I’m now going to have to drive a few extra miles as opposed to 1/2 mile."

"Don’t even bother. Technicians can’t remove a screw to change a lightbulb - literally. Told us to “google a pool contractor.”"

"Buyer Beware!..went to buy 4 containers of Cholrine. When I got to the register I open each one due to a scam alert I heard about on Nextdoor and to my surprise it did not have not even 1% of bleach smell...it is completely diluted. They have new staff now working there and were in complete denial.Stay away from this business!"

"Nine times out of 10 everyone is very Attentive and knowledgeable however every once in a while it seems like you were working with someone who knows nothing about pools. I understand that a new Owner Just bought this franchise as of May 27, 2021 so we will see if things change for the better!"

"Person behind the desk did not know how to use the computer telling her I'm in the computer system with this location already. She says no I'm not then I tell her all my info several times over. She gets to the end and says oh person already exists in system delete. No. Don't delete. So what I lost all my recent liquid Chlorine purchases. Also told her my pool size 2times. She was like well its going to be difficult to know what's going on with your pool if I don't know the size. So now I have to go to another pinch a Penny to get proper customer service grab a water sample and drive back. Thanks for the waste of time."
