"Customer is NOT RIGHT in this place ! The lady in charge of repairs Eileen is definitely one of the rudest people you will meet. I went in there asking about a pump for an above ground pool and wow. First the lady was like in rush, would be bothered by my question, was annoyed when I let the chemical girl explain to me about what I needed. In conclusion ! Drove an extra 5 min to another PinchaPenny in Highlands. Had a guy name Luke there help me out and it was just another world. Polite, professional very patient with all the questions."

"They were nice. But tried to offer me a sensor for $125. And I bought the same one on Amazon for $29. I understand that business should make money, but not 400% profit. labor was $125 from them. It took me literally 15 min. So judge for yourself."

"This branch has horrible communication and service. I gave them my credit card information to pay for an initial service. The person on the phone stated that they would call me back to schedule it, however, after a week I never got a call back. I called them and they were able to come out, but again they had zero communication. They serviced the pool and then left without speaking with anyone. They left the older filter in with the new filter next to it. The pool immediately turned green after they left. We reached out to the branch and never heard anything back."

"I wish I read reviews before going in. I went in with a water sample from a pool filled with well water that was green from metals reacting to chlorine. I told the 2 probably 16 year old kids there that. They tested my water and then starting grabbing items off the shelf without telling me what was wrong. The first item he grabbed was a metal out product so I assumed he was getting me everything I needed to get rid of the metal stains. $100 later and my pool is in worse condition than when I went in. I didn’t use all of the products I purchased and am reading on their website you can’t return them even if not opened. I looked over the water test and the gallon size is almost 2000 more than my pool actually is, and they have my problem as algae, when I repeatedly told them it is not algae, there is no slime, it’s from well water/metals. They didn’t listen. Do not go to this store."

"Pinch a penny is a good company for the most part. However, the Franchise in Mulberry is strait horrible. Eileen, the owner, is rude and does not believe in good business practice. I had pool services with them. My payment is set up to automatically come out every month.  Their old pool guy JR was amazing. My pool has been crystal clear and clean for months. JR recently left, and a new pool guy started cleaning my pool. He would leave mounds of leaves and dirt in the bottom of my pool.  This happened 2 weeks in a row. I took pics and called the owner and even sent her the pics.  She told me I was wrong and she would talk to the pool guy and call me back. I never got a call back from her so she could rectify the situation. The following week, they never showed back up for my pool service. No call, no show. When I called to find out if they were coming out,  I was told that the owner is canceling my service due to me living to far out. I live 3 miles away from them. They said they would refund my monthly charge, which was $175. They only refunded $40.   Eileen is a sorry rude excuse for a business owner who doesn't take responsibility for her own workers' bad practices and her own rude behavior. If you're going to want to do business with pench a Penny, I would recommend pinch a penny on lakeland Highlands blvd in lakeland. They are super nice and friendly people, unlike the one near mulberry."
