"Subject: Disappointing Experience with Gift Certificate My daughter had purchased a gift certificate worth $110.00 from this person when he was operating under the name nails by Raymond in Deltona. However, upon trying to redeem it today, I was informed that it would not be honored due to the change in ownership. I then went to his new location 'Volusia Nail and Spa' and he refused to honor this certificate which he had already collected on. Despite efforts to resolve the matter, I encountered a significant amount of confusion and passing of responsibility between the current and previous owners. It's disheartening to experience such inconsistency, especially considering that the business is still registered under Nails by Raymond. I've taken steps to address this issue with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and sunbiz FL, as the situation seems to require external intervention to be resolved. I felt compelled to share this experience to caution others against similar frustrations when purchasing gift certificates from your establishment. I sincerely hope that steps will be taken to rectify this situation promptly and ensure a smoother process for future customers."
"This was my 1st time going to Raymond at Volusia Nails. The salon I used to go to closed permanently without notice and I was in need of a fill. I searched for days and found the salon online and looked through reviews and decided to book. I am so beyond happy and grateful to have found this place! I needed a holiday set and Raymond took control and freehanded every nail. I've never had nails this beautiful! I will definitely be going back to him and this salon!
