"I just completed my second go round with ARC Acupuncture and PT. My first appointment with them was approximately two years ago when I was introduced to Dr. Lai and his excellent staff complete with an acupuncturist, and a physical therapist that works with your entire body. The receptionist, Angela, always greets you with a smile and concern about how you’re feeling. I’ve never felt like she was having a bad day because her disposition is so bright. The nerve impulse technician, Stephanie, is just one of the most enjoyable people to have working with you. She knows where each electrode should be hooked up, where each magnetic adhesive pad should be placed and she does it all with such joy that you would never think she has a bad day. Unfortunately, Benny, the acupuncturist that I worked with last, is no longer at that location but, he was amazing. Not just placing needles in specific locations but being able to advise you why it’s being placed there and how that muscle will react to the needle being in that location . Nathan, the physical therapist, knows what exercise to do for whatever your situation might be. He knows the name of every bone in your body, knows its functions and knows what you need to do to improve those functions. He doesn’t stop there though. You can ask him about almost anything, doesn’t have to be pt related, and he’ll more than likely know the answer. He is a plethora of information. Dr. Lai specializes in joint mobility and deep muscle relaxation. He’s so good at what he does, it hurts. No, seriously, it hurts but, you grow to appreciate that hurt because you walk out of there feeling so much better than you did when you walked in. He uses every part of his arms and hands to get to the root of your problem… I mean down to the knuckles in his fingers. He locates the tightness in a muscle and works with it until he’s satisfied that he sees some or complete improvement. I’ve said that we have a love-hate relationship. I hate him when he’s going after the tightness in a muscle but love him when he’s done. This team is amazing!"
