"They lack actual employees to check you out so you are practically forced to self checkout. My mother is DISABLED & has difficulty with self checkout so I (who is very legal) scanned the items for her. She had some home supplies & 5 bottles of wine. I scanned the wine last & called over an employee who asked me for an ID and i explained I did not have one & that i was not the one paying for them anyways. I then directed her to my mother. The employee then proceed to say she can not sell them because I was the one to scan it. I explained to her that my mother who is 46 is purchasing it and that she has her ID. I also told her my mother is disabled which is why I am scanning it for her. The employee began to ignore what i said and proceeded to take the items off. I must note she didn’t know what she was doing , I had to assist her. My mother and I were thinking she would just be taking them out then assist my mother to purchase them elsewhere but she walked away with the bottles with little to no explanation. My mother pulled her ID and showed her but the lady claimed since I touched them she could not sell them. The same cameras she brought up that seen me scan the items are the same cameras that can confirm this. My mother was very annoyed because the employee was very unnecessarily rude. Those same cameras watched as my mother pulled HER card out her wallet, HER bank card with HER legal name to pay for the rest of the items. My mother was the one purchasing the wine but all although I AM legal. I was simply helping out my DISABLED mother & the employee lacked customer service."

"I ordered a coffee mug online that needed to be returned. My instructions received via email with the proper barcode states to return the item to ANY Walmart. Well, not this one!! Per the customer service desk staff, the manager of the store has stated that they will not accept returns if they themselves do not carry the item. LOVELY!! Nothing like making up your own rules!"

"Store conveniently located and usually has what we need. I get gas for all my vehicles here as well. We also utilize the pharmacy for our prescriptions. My concern is that in the last few years I am seeing more homeless bums laying around the premises in plain sight and looking for handouts. Some lay out at the corner with no shirt or shoes most of the time. Where the baskets are stored smells like urine so I assume they are urinating there after hours. This is not a good look for Walmart, Deland, and is a safety concern for the patrons who shop here. Why hasn't anyone in the store (management) contact the police to remove these homeless people and beggars?"
