"NOT HAPPY Several people in my family use this salon. So I decided to use them to do my hair for my wedding. I have never been so confused and insulted by a hair salon as I was when I tried to get a appointment set up. I showed the lady at the counter the photo of the bohemian style simple braid and curls style I want. She started asking me questions that didn't make sense to the style like if I had my cone so I asked why I would need things like a cone. She looked at me with disgust and said (I kid you not) "you need to get your act together and figure out what you need before you come I here"! WHAT? I know exactly what I want, I had the photo in my hand in front of her. Then she walks away from me to yell at push a small child away from a shelf because she was touching a sign. She comes back to me and then tells me that due to my type of hair it will be an additional $30 to anything I do. My hair was in a tight bun, she could NOT see anything about my hair other than color and had not asked a single thing about my hair yet. Still determined to get the answers I needed and book my appointment with a different person at the salon I kept talking to her. She then walked away AGAIN because the child was again touching things. This time she told the mother "lady, your children are awful and destructive and they need to leave". This time when she came back to me I asked one last time if I could set an appointment for my date (a month away). Again she gave me a look and said don't you want to do a test run. I admitted I cannot afford to do a $100 test run. My wedding is very small and simple. I also said "it's a simple hair style, I'm sure your stylist can handle this one" and smiled. Again she looked at me like I was stupid and says this is not a simple curl job, this is a 3 HOUR style at least maybe longer. I've spoke with several other stylists and none of them had a problem with this style or thought it was a difficult style. I can honestly do it myself I just didn't want to. This woman literally talked a potential client out of using their salon. She also upset me enough that my husband and family will no longer be using this salon. Its ashame they had someone so nasty running their front desk this weekend and lost 4 customer over her. She's also lucky the parent didn't start a issue for her touching her children so rudely."
