About the Business
Dover Shores Community Center, located at 1400 Gaston Foster Road in Orlando, Florida, offers a variety of programs and services for residents of all ages. For elementary and middle school children, there is a summer day camp program available at one of the 16 neighborhood centers, providing fun and safe child care. Additionally, when Orange County Public Schools are closed, the center offers day-long activities for children in grades K-5th.
The S.P.A.R.K. Before and After School program is available for grades K-8th, offering supervised recreational activities, homework assistance, arts and crafts, and a daily snack. The center also provides a Counselors-In-Training program for teens aged 14 and 15, offering the opportunity to learn job skills by assisting with center programs and events.
The facility offers various rental spaces, including a grand room, multipurpose room, computer lab, outdoor terrace, kitchen, gymnasium, and baseball field. Rentals must be paid in full at the time of booking, with a refundable damage/cleanup deposit required. General liability insurance is also required and must be provided at the time of rental or purchased from the City.

The center is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with observed holidays. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises, and rentals must be canceled at least 72 hours prior to the event to receive a refund.

"Great Pickleball courts. Love that each court has its own fence to prevent stray balls from rolling into your court. Make sure you bring plenty of water. The nearest spot to refill is a bit of a walk up to the front entrance of the community center. Courts are well lit and stay open pretty late if you can't make it right after work."
"I Tenice rented a space here 4/3/2023 NOT my first time and never had a problem. I just did a event a few weeks ago and the center will not refund my deposit due to LIES by the staff. I don’t appreciate the lies and also WILL NEVER rent or recommend this center again. I am upset, and can’t believe after renting with this center and other centers in the area multiple times that they will treat me in this manner after my complements in the past on the customer service was great but NOT this time. If you rent I recommend you take pictures and take pictures of the time you leave because if not this can happen to you as well and you will be missing your deposit. DO NOT RENT! DO NOT RENT!"
