"The store is great IF you already know exactly what you need AND you already know exactly where it is. Then you have to hope that the aisle you need to go down isn't gated off by an employee that's too busy playing on their phone to respond to you. Also, the location and availability of the items according to their website is 50/50 AT BEST. No wonder more and more brick and mortar stores are going the way of the Dodo."

"I want to leave a special review for Patricia j in customer service. I spend a lot of money and a lot of time at home Depot and I have never encountered such a patient helpful customer service agent like I did with Patricia. I went to 3 other stores in 3 different cities that told me that it was not possible to do what I wanted to do which was to utilize a promotion that they only had one item of at each store and said that it's not possible. Patricia went out of her way to find out that it was possible spent over 45 minutes making sure that I got what it is that I wanted and save me over $700. I knew they had to be possible but nobody was willing to spend the time to figure out how to do it but Patricia did and I can tell you that that is very unique nowadays especially in home Depot customer service because they are very very busy but I was shocked with the fact that she continued to make sure that I felt taken care of and that her focus was on me and getting my problem solved before she moved on to the next person and because of that now my wife and I both get a Christmas gift instead of only one of us and we save $700 I can't say it enough I am thoroughly impressed and home Depot you should be very grateful for an employee like her"
"Same old same at Home Depot. Decent staff, selection and prices. I prefer HD over Lowe's as I can get my rewards AND military discount (Lowe's only allows one or the other). HD also have better pricing and product selection. I've become a Ridgid tool snob. Changing all my corded and cordless tools over to Ridgid. The 10" and 12" compound mitre saws have become an amazing upgrade over my Ryobi, Delta and Tool Shops saws. And, occasionally, there's this small child at HD that really seem to enjoy straight up their lumber racks. They should sponsor this kid!"
"18 months ago we purchased a rheem water-heater 38 gallons with 6yr warranty on 1-16-21 it went out. Instead of repairing they just replacing it with a new unit. Today 1-19-21 we bought 4 new ceiling fans and picked up the new unit and still have to hire professional to install it. Large parking lot. Usually friendly helpful employees."
