"The food was very good (but pricey) and the restaurant is clean, if a bit stark. That's the positive. We really aren't "to-go" people and prefer to dine in. Sadly, the restaurant isn't really set up for dining in. It is counter service only and the counter staff didn't seem particularly happy to see us. Once our order was ready, it took three trips from the counter to get the order to table. Then it was another trip to get sweeteners, cream, stirrers, napkins, utensils, etc. And the only creamer is in a large thermal pitcher, so you either have to carry your coffee to the creamer or the creamer to the table (which may be frowned upon). Considering the cost of the food, I'd rather not have to act as my own server. As a to-go joint, it seems to work better. Go in, order food, sit around at a table to wait for your order, grab your bag, visit the extras station for napkins, straws, etc. and go. If that's your thing, you'll probably appreciate this place a bit more than we did."
"Great spot, great atmosphere, great food, great service! We’ve been here twice and has not disappointed. My family had multiple coffee styles, avocado toast, croissants (the almond croissant is the best) , berry cheese danish, chicken soup and sandwich, avocado BLT, the nova salmon toast, salad and more. Everyone enjoyed their meal . All tasted fresh. They also have a selection of unique canned kombucha. Staff is courteous and welcoming. Located in the Defuniak Springs historic district with a nice view of the train museum and Lake Defuniak."
"My family was having trouble finding a food place open on New Year's Eve and we found this place and it was FANTASTIC! Cute and clean place. Food was so delicious!"

"The coffee and food is amazing!! The baked pastry selection is so good. I usually get the quiche because it is so delicious…but I had the biscuits and gravy this morning…all I have is an empty plate to show lol. Sorry! The coffee is Amavida and is so delicious!! It is COFFEE…not watered down nasty stuff. The lattes are better than any I’ve had…It is so great to have a place like this local. Don’t hesitate…the price is worth it for the quality and fresh food you are served here…you will pay more at chains!! SUPPORT LOCAL!!!"
