"Mini bar scam! Be careful staying at this hotel! I stayed here for one night on a quick work trip back in December. I was in my room only to sleep and didn't eat or drink anything in the hotel except for a coffee in the morning during checkout. I was not provided a receipt of my stay (which tends to happen as it was booked via a third party work travel website and my folio is usually emailed to me). Now that I received my credit card bill from last month and need to submit an expense report for the trip, I noticed a $51.97 charge direct from Hilton Aventura. I thought maybe this was one of those annoying “resort fees” or tax but nothing with that amount was reflected on my folio. I called the hotel and they claimed that it was a minibar charge. I didn’t even open the minibar once nor did I even drink the water bottles sitting on the counter (which shouldn’t cost $50 anyway). Now I have to open a case with the hotel and my credit card company to get this resolved. I refuse to be charged that much money for something I didn’t even consume. Briefly looking at the reviews here I see another woman had issues with being charged for something she didn’t order while on a business trip so it seems suspicious!! Take photos of the minibar! Get your receipt! Don’t get scammed! Side note: my coworker also stayed at this hotel this night and she didn’t sleep at all due to police activity in the hallway. Just find a different place to stay."

"I honestly loved this hotel. I think it's very well priced and it's beautiful. The location is super convenient. You can walk to the mall, the supermarket, restaurants, the park, etc. The room was very big and so was the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the staff was very nice and friendly. In my opinion, it's the best hotel in the Aventura area. The room service was a bit of a disappointment. The menu isn't great and an average tasting $18 burger ended up being around $30 with the fees and taxes."

"I was in Aventura for my birthday weekend, and was disappointed to have a few problems with the room, but they were quickly addressed and the rest of my time couldn’t have been better. Checking in I had the pleasure of being helped by Beth. She was extremely pleasant and very personable. I was blown away when she informed me that she was new to the Hilton family. Beth was also the ambassador who helped me with checking out. Beth asked me how was my stay, and explained to her what had happened. Beth went above and beyond once she heard about my room issues especially on my birthday. She grabbed her manager(don’t remember his name/very nice as well) explained the situation and then he offered me compensations to make up for the room troubles as well as a sincere apology. Beth’s genuine concern was really appreciated, and the effort that she put forth really left a mark with me. Employees like her are the reasons I choose to stay at Hilton resorts. She’s exemplary in her customer service and she made my stay more the perfect. Please pass on my genuine thanks to her!"

"Beautiful hotel, convenient location...BUT...whatever you do, do not stay at this hotel or at least pay for all drinks and food either in cash or using a debit/credit card. I stayed here ALONE for business in October 2023; I ordered 1 drink and charged it to my room and well apparently someone else did as well. Upon checking out, I had an unexpected bill and when I questioned what the charges were for, the front desk attendant, Jimmy provided me with a detailed report. I explained that because I was there for business, I was away on the day that the additional charges were made. I even suggested that they run the cameras back as added proof. Jimmy explained that he would have the manager, Robert James to call me later that day. Well of course, Robert did not call, so I did and of course he was "not available". I called back two days later to speak with another manager, who after explaining the situation placed me on hold for ~30 minutes and never returned back to the phone. When I called back, someone picked up the phone and then hung up immediately. At that point, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. This is very disappointing because I actually enjoyed my stay, but will NEVER EVER stay here again because the Hilton allows either their staff or guests to just make charges on other guest's room without even an effort to resolve the issue. I will also be reaching out to the BBB, in hopes that this does not happen to another guest."

"The hotel overall provides a comfortable stay with an exceptionally courteous and attentive staff, making one feel truly valued as a guest. However, my experience was slightly marred by a few hiccups. The air conditioning in my room seemed to have some issues, and the inability to open the window made it a bit stifling at times. Additionally, the breakfast options were somewhat limited, lacking the variety I've come to expect. Given the price point, I found that exploring nearby hotels or the local mall for breakfast proved to be a more satisfying choice. While the hotel does have its merits, a few improvements could elevate the entire experience."
