"Great last minute find for cheap. Really cute courtyard, extremely helpful staff who went above and beyond for a very late check-in. The room smelled like bleach and felt damp, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the door to the unit and the bathroom were extremely difficult to close. But I think it was definitely a good find anyway."

"Great place to stay for a retreat from the hustle and bustle. Nice clean rooms and beds. Great little seating nooks in the garden area! Bathrooms were clean, and the drip coffee in the room was very good."

"Terrible experience. I stayed here because I had an early flight out of FLL. This isn't really a hotel or motel, more like a long-stay place. No one at the desk to check me in (they left the room unlocked and the key on the bed). Room was awful: old, tired & dirty. Stained sheets, lumpy pillows, rusty lamps, tattered stools, dirty floor and bathroom. No facilities of any sort. Only good thing about it (the only!) is that it is close to the beach. So bad that I almost left in the middle of the night. Never again."

"This a a dump motel! The bath towels, washcloths, all the linens and pillowcases were covered in stains. They had the nerve to roll the wash clothes when they were gray in color. The tv remote was dirty and sticky. The tv volume button didn’t work. I was so glad I brought my own towel and washcloth! There is no one in the office and they don’t answer the office phone or respond to emails. There was another guest who was looking for someone at the office and they said, the office has been closed for days. I saw a posting in one of the windows that listed this micro studio for $2,500/month. The only highlight about this property is the beach is a block away. Do not stay here!"

"Terrible experience dealing with this MOTEL. Unfortunately had a reservation the day the Fort Lauderdale airport was completely shut down due to the extreme flooding throughout the area. My flight was canceled, and I had reached out inquiring about a refund. I understand there's a no refund policy - but come on, it wasn't like I missed my flight. The runway was basically a lake and nobody was getting in or out of the city. But I receive no answer to my email. And then I emailed a second time asking for my $20 parking pass I paid for to at least be refunded. No answer. It took a 3rd email harshly criticizing their customer service for them to FINALLY refund my parking fee and offer an $88 hotel credit (even though I paid $135) that can be used within a year. I have no plans to return to this area let alone this motel within the year, so that's completely useless to me. I'd highly recommend a name brand hotel who values your loyalty and business. Not the Ocean Inn where once you pay, they don't care about you."
