"Title: “Dedicated Service, Disappointing Resolution” I recently encountered an issue with accessing my Netflix account during my stay, and the staff at Delray Sands were quick to assist. The technician who came to troubleshoot was dedicated and made genuine efforts to resolve the problem, but unfortunately, they couldn’t get it working. Despite the technician’s best efforts, the situation was not fully resolved. When I reached out to the manager for further assistance, I was disappointed by the response. While I understand that technical issues can arise, the refusal to offer any form of compensation or alternative solution left me feeling dissatisfied with the level of service provided. Overall, while the initial efforts to address the issue were commendable, the lack of resolution and the response from management regarding compensation for the inconvenience were disappointing. I hope that in the future, there will be more proactive measures in place to address similar situations and ensure customer satisfaction."

"Sister property of the Opal. I found the beds to not be very comfortable. The air-conditioning wasn’t great, but the room itself was very nice bathroom big location really great. All the staff could not have been nicer."

"AVOID THE SANDS. I booked 2 rooms at their sister hotel, the Opal in Delray. When I booked that reservation at the Opal, the reservation department mistakenly booked me at the Sands. I called them the next day after seeing that the Sands charged my credit card. They would not refund the mistake they made for a total of $1,699.76. When I contacted the Manager, Cheryl O'dell via email, SHE BLOCKED MY MESSAGE. That is no way to run a business. Shame on the Sands owners for allowing this to happen."

"I loved Delray Sands Resort because of the oceanfront room we stayed in and that it is a beautiful & peaceful location. The service was excellent from the valet to the front desk to the cleaning gals & the restaurant! The only negative is that the bathrooms are quite small and the sink set up isn't the best. Very minor detail. I highly recommend staying here. It was a much needed getaway!"

"1) Only valet parking - wasn’t happy about this since I don’t like people to have access to my car. 2) The room was comfortable and mostly clean except for corner dust bunnies. Cleaned daily and plenty of towels. 3) The Latitudes Restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey. 4) Pool looked clean and well organized. The beach chair attendant at first seemed efficient but soon ruined my stay. My daughter in law booked our room since she had a family reunion. She came for a short visit and checked in at the front for beach access. She was told she didn’t need any wristbands. She came down to the beach saying she was only staying 30 minutes and she only wanted her 8 month old daughter to feel the sand and the ocean. The attendant came to the ocean side telling me I was using someone else’s chairs. I told him those were mine—you just seated me! He argued with me. Then demanded my family (who were getting upset) pay for the beach access and chairs. My daughter in law got upset and left immediately and I was stuck with two extra chairs for no reason. She was so upset since she was paying for the room and wasn’t going to be able to use the extra chairs. This attendant went on and on arguing with my husband saying the hotel had cameras and he would get in trouble if he didn’t force the chairs upon us. This incident ruined my entire stay."
