"Herman was willing to give us a free diagnostic on a couple of bikes we got from a flea market/garage sale. He is a consumer bicycle specialist, so if you have anything from a trike to a big boy bike, I’m willing to bet he can at least figure out the issue - if not fix it completely. When we arrived, he came out to greet us and check out the bikes. He did a pretty thorough once over, and pointed out the things we should address immediately. Then he showed us things that would likely need fixing in the next few months (common wear and tear) and how to fix those things. He then reminded us that YouTube is a great place to learn how to repair a bike and charged us $0. We tried to pay him and he refused, even though another shop would have charged hundreds for the same time and energy. I forgot good people like this existed… Overall, this quick trip was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had since moving to Hudson a few years ago. Thank you for giving us more confidence about our new bikes, Herman. "Needed a spoke replaced and my rear wheel trued and my brakes adjusted. Stop at this location on a Wednesday. I was asked to return on Friday, and they would have my bike ready on Saturday. My bike was ready as promised and rides like new. The cost was half of what I was expecting to pay. I felt like this guy was cheating himself. I recommend and will return."

"I got a quote, and delivery date. I Dropped my bike off,and a day before the delivery date was notified it was done. Wow! Done a day early and the best part $30.00 below the quote I had received. It rides like a new bicycle."

"After reading the reviews, I called Eileen's Place to obtain an estimate for my bike. The individual on the phone was very pleasant and I decided to not shop around but take a chance. Upon arriving at the location, I was overwhelmed by all the different bikes in the front of the store. Upon meeting the owner, Herman, I knew I made the right choice. Herman is very knowledgeable, polite and friendly man. He educated me with the history of my bike and this was the most fun I had the entire weekend which took place in the short period of time of meeting Herman. "Supposed tune-up on GIANT mountain bike. The ONLY difference is grease (not wax) on chain. Also put sticker on bike! Gearing still full of grit as it was obviously not touched as well as flat tires. DO NOT BRING BIKE FOR MAINTENANCE TO THIS SHOP! You've been warned!"
