Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville South - I-295, an IHG Hotel

"This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. Also, the staff all of the staff from the mage to the managers were extremely friendly and helpful."

"Be careful of this location I have stayed there many times with no problems until recently. I needed a room for 1 night and was calling around to check rates. When I spoke to the person at the front desk they quoted me a rate of $147 a night. I asked if that was the best possible rate and she asked if I had any discounts such as aarp triple a. I told her I was a ihg member when she asked for my name and membership number but the rate was the same. So I told her I would get back to was I wanted to check a few other places. I went with another motel as they had a better rate. 3 days later I was checking my credit card balance on line and seen I was charged $147 by holiday inn which I never booked. I immediately called the motel and spoke to the manager and they told me that there was nothing they could do. I called my bank and disputed the charge and the bank made a claim and called the motel. The bank said the motel was not going to refund the charges so I had to pay $147 for a room I never booked or stayed in. Sad this is how businesses have to operate. I will never stay at a holiday inn or any motel affiliated with them"
