"Wow!!! I checked in early this morning on the 5th of February 2024. First the shuttle driver picked me up from the airport. His conversation was pleasant. Very professional demeanor. Enjoyed his professionalism. This was a shot to how my early morning 0100 hours was going to be. When I arrived inside at this time I met Ms. Linda and again was blown away with her professionalism, empathy and conversation. She is so sweet and d pleasant to talk to. Now the room was very comfortable. The noise level was to a minimum. The atmosphere was relaxing. Ms. Linda even apologized for not being able to provide the suite ( my company is paying) but the room she put me in was very large with a king bed which was comfortable to lay in. I don’t sleep well in hotels ( prior military) but I fell asleep feeling secured. Now later in the morning when I woke up I came downstairs for breakfast and met Ms. Yvette again blown away wither professional standard. Pleasant to talk to and attentive to my needs. This hotel staff is great. I always say a company should have representatives go around and teach professional standards to other employees and tell their story of professional standards and these three people should be appointed for the task. My hats off to you. So sorry I didn’t get the driver’s name. Great job."

"There's no way this should be listed as a 3-star hotel. The lobby was nice and the staff were great, but the rooms were just gross. My room stunk like mold and you could see mold around the windows. The bathroom door looked like someone had chewed a chunk out of it. The mattress was awful and the bed was a cheap exposed metal frame. All of the fixtures looked like the cheapest thing you could find at Walmart and were poorly installed. The bathtub was so dangerously slippery that they give you a tiny rubber mat to put down. And if you step off it, watch out! Awful, awful rooms. Never again."

"We stayed here one night along our route to Tampa. Lobby is misleading. Lobby is nice and service at the front desk was great. Once you step in the elevator, you feel like you’re in a different place. See photos of elevator carpet (nasty dirty). See photos of room. We stayed in a suite and paid around $300. This looked like what I imagine a $59 hotel room would look like. The room itself was tidy, but this place needs a serious overhaul. I’m not a mold expert, but it sure looked like mold to me in the bathroom."

"We booked a room here at the last minute when a winter storm changed our travel plans, and we were happy to land at this lovely hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Due to a couple of snafus, we had to change rooms twice when we arrived. However, we were compensated for this inconvenience; the staff made it right and we have no complaints. The hotel offers some limited dinner selections right in the common area/reception. We were delighted that we did not have to go out in the storm to find food, because they were able to accommodate our vegan diet through some creative adjusting of menu items. Very convenient off the highway, too. We would stay here again."

"I’ve been going to this hotel for over 20 years and have seen it steadily decline. My last visit in September 2023 will be my last time coming to this hotel. The exterior and lobby of the hotel look very nice but as soon as you round the corner to the elevator, you see that only one elevator is working and the other is in disrepair. When we arrived the room we were assigned, the odor of mold and mildew was strong. Checking the AC filters they were clean, so we turned the AC to 60F to dry out the room. During our visit, I developed a cough that I still have the following week. Checking other reviews, the complaint of mold and mildew in the rooms is not new. As a former roofing contractor in the state of Florida, I understand mold issues, but it appears limited action has been taken by the hotel owners to reduce issues at this hotel. The bathroom was not in good shape with rusted pipes under the toilet, a dirty air vent, and a towel holder that was falling off the wall. The bed linens were in bad shape with the duvet having fabric pills and stains from over use. The staff is very nice and accommodating but their hotel does not provide the level of quality I expect at a Hilton Garden Inn."
