"Horrible check in and guest experience. After nearly an hour process to check in. 5 days later I called back to get an update on my $100 fee that was held for incidentals and should be returned. I was put on hold 7 times.. he kept saying “hang on another guest is here” - um.. is there not a policy that who ever was there first should be helped? I said on hold for over 20 minutes, got 3 words out then was put on hold again because another guest walked in. Ridiculous"
"After reading about bedbugs a few days before, had a difficult time sleeping. The room was clean, no bugs seen, but motel is dreary in general. The breakfast simply awful with poor choices. 1 pitcher of milk in fridge everyone had to wait for. No yogurts, peanut butter or cream cheese. No fruit other than yellow and bruised apples. All carbs breakfast. Went to restaurant instead. Overpriced motel, uncomfortable stay"
"I felt checking in was impersonal but the man on the other end was very nice and helpful! The room was nice and clean except the Roach took my scoring down ! Called them to tell them , there was a roach in the room, they didn’t seem concerned and just said they would move us the next day, but never contacted us! Had to put all our stuff up high to be sure not to get any in our luggage!! Really wasn’t helpful in providing a good solution! I should have read the reviews first because 4 other people complained of baby roaches!! Actually stayed in the truck the second night, turned the keys in at 2am and went and slept at the beach!! The people checking in during breakfast the first morning, seemed uncomfortable doing it in front of a lobby full of people.."
"We had 4 single people rent a room with 2 double beds. Fine, but they only gave us 2 towels. Couldn't all shower. No one at front desk, just a face on the TV screen to check us in. Poor breakfast. Won't return."
"I never write reviews but I felt compelled to do so this time. Despite the check in kiosk and what a major inconvenience it was that was. We felt the need to get out as early as we could. The room was dirty. The window and security lock broken. . I won’t even get into the bathroom. If there was a room to be had anywhere else that wasn’t in the high $$$ amount we would have considered it a wash and stayed else. I wish my boyfriend could get his money back"
