Legacy Harbour Hotel & Suites

"My parents lived in the marina attached to this hotel. We evacuated to a second-floor room in this hotel prior to Hurricane Ian. Prior to the storm, days before it was even close, the wifi did not work; the toilets of our evacuee neighbors didn't flush; and the manager dismissed all complaints as "not his problem". Then, after my parents watched their boat and their entire lives shatter and sink as the marina broke up, days after everything, the manager came back and told my parents to get out. This is an illegal evacuation in a natural disaster; no engineer had come to look over the place and deem it unsafe. The man raised an American flag and in the next breath looked at my disabled veteran father, and decided it was appropriate and *more convenient* to put him out on the streets. It's only for a graceful network of friends that we found anywhere to go. To make it even better, he smirked as he did it. The hotel also employed a solitary security guard, who worked himself to the bone keeping us safe during rampant looting of the boats heaped up around the property. Jose was a hard worker who'd also lost his home, and management rewarded his sleepless nights patrolling the entire space alone and protecting *their* property by kicking him out as well. Everyone at Legacy Harbor Marina is incredible. The management of Legacy Harbor Hotel, however? Absolutely monstrous. If this hotel ever comes back, do not support them. They've shown how interested they are in being part of the Fort Myers community."

"So so happy with our experience!! Check in was super simple & speedy. The room was clean and spacious. We checked in for one night, in the middle of the week and because they were slow they upgraded us from a regular room to a waterfront suite, at no extra charge. That was so thoughtful and we really appreciated that gift. We spent the entire evening watching a gorgeous sunset from our balcony. Thank you for great service and a beautiful room! I just have to share a picture because it was breathtaking. No filters needed :)"

"Wonderful location. The views are beautiful! Quick walk to restaurants and shopping. Mr Bob the night security officer was super helpful! Heads up: the tiki bar has not yet reopened :/ The new owner stated they are working hard to complete that project. Nothing fancy about the room but it was fine for what we needed. Clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay again!"

"We enjoyed everything about our stay at Legacy Harbor Hotel. The staff was amazing and beyond hospitable. The hotel itself was adorable and well kept. It was especially beautiful at night when the colorful lights came on. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. Not to mention the location! It was an 8 minute walk into the downtown area with all of the shops, bars and restaurants. Everything we needed for a good time was a short walk away. I will be staying here again next time I am in town."

"We spent the weekend at this hotel and had a nice experience. The staff was pleasant and upbeat. The rooms were clean and very quiet. The bed was comfortable. While eating breakfast we overhead people in the lobby making reservations for another visit. We will definitely stay here again."
