"We loved the location, choice between 2 restaurants for breakfast. The bed and pillows were comfortable. What would have made our stay better, a working ice machine, a pull cord on the overhead fan as the room was rather stuffy as we used the floor fan in addition. The bathroom grout desperately needs to be redone, black looking mold was a turn off. You can't beat the location though."

"We will never stay there again. We stayed in the lantana. Very dirty! Mold in the fridge. Very rusty fridge door. Mold on the ceiling by all the vents. Every time we would leave there would be staff from the lime bistro sitting on our steps taking a break. Don’t bring your small kidos the spindles on the porch are broken. It’s a second floor unit. A child or a pet can easily fall through. The owner pretty much owns all the restaurants next to us. She decided to show up and rock the enter neighborhood past restaurant closing hours 10pm. She party till after midnight. There is a noise ordinance at 10pm. We had plans very early the next day.The people that stayed down stairs said there baby’s were kept waking up I did not actually fall asleep till after midnight. I felt very bad for them. They had problems with the septic tank while we were there and were told they would leave the office door across the street open if we needed to use the bathroom. The drain in our bathroom is clogged I had to brush my teeth in the kitchen sink. The place very much needs updated. I’m sorry but we did have a horrible experience. The paint is great and cute. The lantana room is a fabulous location. They really do need to make the place more accommodating for guests though. It’s a great concept but needs lots more love!!"

"Location is what keeps people coming back (all the best restaurants are walkable) We had the Gardenia Suite which faced the street. Two bedrooms with a queen 7/10 comfort & a king 8/10 comfort. Definitely needs some TLC. Beachy cottage vibe. Guests mistook our unit for the office with 4 “walk-ins” as the sign above our door was larger then the one across the street at the office. Get ice at restaurant next door. Small private pool was TOO warm to be refreshing, but had nice loungers. The patio had biting nats at sunset (bring spray). Umbrellas & chairs at YOLO on your way to walk to the beach (very reasonable). Free breakfast for the 4 of us =$50/day savings. Coffee maker, microwave and medium size refrigerator. AC worked well. Hot water and large shower. Housekeeper stopped and gathered garbage and exchanged linens daily. Patio landscaping (or lack of) made for continuous dirty feet (and looked really bad). The walk along the street to the beach was beautifully landscaped and shaded."

"It’s gone downhill in the last few years... kinda sad. Last time I stayed in the love shack. Noisy fan, no bathroom light without it so had to unplug a floor lamp and take into the bathroom. North window in room hasn’t been cleaned forever. Lots of cobwebs, dust dead insects. I like that it’s at the end and very secluded. Housekeeping is nice but not thorough. Started staying here 9 years ago but have chose other places on the island since my last bad experience. They do have great breakfast that is complimentary, however. Location is amazing. Right between the bay and the ocean and can’t beat the access to 6 restaurants within walking distance along with ice cream shop and tiny grocery store."

"Great place for a beach getaway. We stayed at #12 (Loveshack). It is small but was perfect for us. It has a good size refrigerator inside and a nice patio-next time we'll bring our portable grill! It is also situated at the very back of the drive so we didn't smell the restaurants and barely heard the music. The bed was comfy, the AC great. The Inn provides umbrellas and beach chairs free! And the included breakfasts were fantastic! Truly a full breakfast. Don't bother going to Starbucks up the road as the coffee at R.C. Otter's was actually better to my surprise. Staff was very nice as well at the Inn and at the restaurants. Will definitely go again. The beach is so nice and very close."
