"Listen to the bad reviews. We were looking for inexpensive hotel for one night and thought how bad could it be. It was bad. I can say the room was neat but far from clean. I'm not a germ-a-fob but I was grateful I happen to have a can of lysol. Dirty bathroom floor, hair in the drains, dirty mirror and microwave. I was glad there were vinyl floors because God knows what would be living in the carpet. We wouldn't use the elevator because someone urinated in the corner. If we were familiar with the area and it wasn't 9pm and dark we would have left. There were homeless camped outside the entrance and people yelling in the middle of the night. Pay more stay somewhere else."
"I do not recommend this location. Filthy bathroom. Two computer chairs one a was broken both dirty. Bed stains hair in the pillow case. So disgusting. Elevator dirty. Looks like homeless people all round the property. They came into lobby to charge their phones. So Disappointed!!!!!!"
"I chose this hotel for its price and proximity to Ybor City for a weekend stay. The room itself was fairly (though not perfectly) clean and was adequate in every way. The toilet had not been completely cleaned and the ice bucket was dirty. The tile floor felt a bit gritty and I was not comfortable walking around the room in socks (much less bare feet). The TV worked, WiFi signal was strong and fast, bed was reasonably comfortable, climate control functioned properly, and the shower pressure and temperature was good. The furnishings were adequate with a couple exceptions: there was no closet, no area to hang clothes (except for the towel rack). The provided soap was small and cheap. The toilet area was tight. The shower curtain was hung too low. The bedside lamps didn't work when I first entered the room (the electrical socket was unplugged - and difficult to reattach from behind the fixture). But given all that, the room was adequate and worth the rate I paid. The location leaves much to be desired. Though the proximity to Ybor City was decent, the neighborhood was rough. Some of the guests were rowdy and obnoxious. The nearby businesses (a gas station and convenience store) were sights of excessive loitering and probable drug activity. I would not be comfortable bringing my family here or recommending anyone stay."
