"If possible try to stay in 603. We rented this condo on Airbnb. The condo was clean and the host was quick to respond. It's for a family of 4. Construction throughout the day but on the opposite side. Pool was clean and the locals are quiet. Beach access is number one. Overall this location helped us save time with not having to drive and haul beach stuff. The whole condo itself needs a interior update. It does have a moldy smell throughout the building. Limited parking. Overall I would stay again if I was not able to secure another condo that was more affordable."

"We loved condo 201! Gates to enter the pool were a little aggravating, but we enjoyed our stay."

"Nice place. Pretty quiet. Pool is way too small and the push button locks don't work. Place is in dire need of an update."

"Very convenient location to the beach and amenities. Expect to hear traffic noise, which subsides as the night goes on, but is still quite noticeable (at least on any side of the building not on the ocean side). The pool area is rather dated but still nice—although the bathrooms are dingy. Reaching it requires walking across a small alley/access road from the parking lot. It’s only a stone’s throw, however. The best part is how the beach is directly outside the gate of the pool. It’s easy to bounce back and forth between the two. Biggest con of San Remo is how dated the common spaces are. Common stairwells are dingy and musty. Feels a bit like a laundromat in a neglected part of town. However, your individual unit could be completely renovated and up-to-date. It all depends and can make a big difference. Something nice was the bird sanctuary adjacent to the northern parking lot. Definitely stop in and see it! If I were to give it a more specific rating it would be 3.5."

"At the beach but not beach friendly. If you are considering booking here, look closely. First off, the pool is beachfront but the building is accross the street, not easy with 4 young kids. There is a dilapidated house across the street that is infested with rodents, bees, and smells from the beach path you have to walk down right next to it. The condo building is in disrepair, and the door handle to the stairwell on our floor was not functional - a major fire safety issue. We reported to the owner and they refused to repair during our stay. There is also only one elevator so you will spend a lot of time waiting, particularly when the stairwell isn't functional. The icing on the cake for us was coming outside one morning to find the maintenance guy taking our beach toys we left downstairs to the dumpster. Popped all of our floats putting them in a metal shopping cart to push them to the dumpster. Claimed we should take the sand up to the unit and aren't allowed to leave anything downstairs. My kids were very disappointed to say the least. In short, we won't be staying here again."
