"So I normally don’t take the time out of my day to write reviews but this place deserves the efforts needed to write this. This is a cheap hotel, I didn’t expect luxury I didn’t expect a comfortable bed my expectations were pretty low. Walking to the room from across the parking lot there were people sitting outside the rooms just staring and it’s obvious they’re living here, arguing to be heard and kids running the parking lot, I got into my room that was non smoking and was hit with that nasty smokers room smell, I ignored it. Went to plug my phone in the wall light thing and the whole face of it came off exposing the wires and ballast, ignored it, used the toilet, had a cigarette butt in it, wouldn’t flush either. took a shower and then turned the room heat on cause it was 40 degrees outside and climbed into the bed, pillows were very flat and used, bed only had a sheet and a green thin cover so no real insulating ability, I waited an hour or two freezing my butt off to check the unit, wasn’t working, I try to call front desk but phone has the labels peeled off, my phone wasn’t even charging on that light and was dead and I wasn’t about to get dressed and walk across the parking lot, so I layered up and climbed in bed, tweakers arguing and throwing things in room next door, I did not sleep at all, and to make it worse when I got up to check out I pulled the sheets back to check for anything left in bed, and low and behold there’s a fricken bandaid that was NOT mine in the sheets. Talked to front desk and they seemed unphased by it, and said best we can do is $20 off. I wish I would have slept in my vehicle and saved the almost $100"

"Booked a room for my contractor who was traveling from out of state to do work in my house here in FL… kept my deposit because he was supposed to come back in a month so they said it would be transferred to his new room… he couldn’t make it back for his own personal reasons… when they called to tell me to come back and collect my deposit they left me one voicemail and failed to disclose I had a time frame before I could pick it up… I was out of state when they called and when I came to collect they told me “the hotel absorbed my deposit” whatever that means!!! They are complete scammers & I wouldn’t put it past the druggies running the office to have taken my cash deposit for their own pockets!!! Stay away from here rooms aren’t even worth the headache. Not to mention my contractor had several complaints while he was there and had to switch rooms twice because of all the hysteria outside his room every night."

"This place is nothing like the pictures they have in the website. My room smelled like pine sol blankets were all torn . I went to front desk they would not give me a refund offered another room . That room had cigarette burns in the blankets the bed made so much noise every time you move . Total false advertising of what is really there . I stayed for 3 hrs and was so upset I just got my things and left . I’ve been trying to get a refund but the staff here is very rude . So if your in the New Port Ritchie fla area DO NOT stay here you will be very sorry that you did ."

"There is a white man with glasses that said he is the manager that works there at the front desk that is very disrespectful towards me and im a Diamond member. He didn't care what I had to say threatened me as far as telling me to get out and didn't care anything what I had to say. He threatened to call the cops on me and it was treating me like I was a crackhead or a meth head or a heroin addict. He told me don't come back to the property or else he was going to call the cops. And it was just shift change he wasn't even there for no longer than 5 minutes came in high off of something Rooms are disgusting, half the stuff don't work. They use the same sheets over and over. Cigarette holes in the blankets and in the sheets. Stains on the pillow, duct tape in some of the mini refrigerators as holders for shelves. Homeless people shooting needles in the arm in the laundry room. There are a lot of rats there roaming around going in room the room. They have no maid services for the rooms so I don't know how they clean them daily or try to. Never had a problem until he came in today. He didn't want to honor none of my, Diamonds member privileges as far as the, 2-hour early check-in and a, 2-hour late checkout. They said they don't do that there but clearly they're under the choice awards program according to the guidelines of being a choice privilege member. When my Wife called to ask what happened he was very disrespectful to her also and said that she can't come back to the property either and cops will be called. DON'T BOOK HERE AT ALL AND A HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEED TO BE CALLED ON THEM ALSO. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GET SHUT DOWN. I would have put zero stars but they wouldn't let me."

"We needed a hotel to stay in during our mandatory hurricane evacuation. They have a one pet per room. policy, but we have 2 dogs, and they were kind enough to be lenient, and allow us to have one room with both of our dogs. That was very kind of them. Room was very clean, nice size apartment refrigerator as opposed to the usual tiny one you get in most hotel rooms, even though we did not have a room with a kitchen. Nice size TV."
