"I very rarely provide reviews. Anel proved to be the exception. Back in early July 2021, I ordered a pair of the ALK-008 shoes online. After about 2 weeks I wrote an email to Anel inquiring about the receipt timelines of my purchase while following up with a questioning phone call. Surprisingly I was called back within an hour with an understandable explanation of the delay in shipment from the supplier located in Italy. I continued this follow-up activity for the next 3 weeks and was always provided accurate information in a very timely matter. After the 4th week, the Anel representative called me back, unsolicited, and offered me a 10% discount which hit my credit card account that day. A week after that he called me again, explaining that the shoe supplies were being delayed by US Customs and that Anel will be providing me a full refund as well as still sending the shoes when they do arrive. The shoes arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and comfort. I’m still taken back at the level of service and customer commitment this company has; not to mention the quality of their product. Understand, I never requested a discount nor a refund – not to mention the shoes at no charge. I was humbled by this experience, so much so, I promptly ordered another pair of shoes as a committed customer to a business that showed good faith. More businesses should act like this."

"I had been looking at Anel Racer shoes for a couple of years. I always hesitated because I was concerned about fit. My feet have a few problems. The are very wide and I wear prescription orthopedic inserts. So, as nice as the Anel Racers look I just wasn’t sure I would be able to wear them. Finally my fiancé decided I should try them and bought me my first pair for my birthday. I was shocked at how well they fit and how they could accommodate my feet. There is a good bit of adjustment in the width just in how you work the laces. I wear them every chance I get and they have been great. I ordered a second pair just a few weeks after receiving my first pair. They are very well made and a bit more substantial than I expected. I am a very happy customer. I have since ordered a second pair of shoes and they do not fit. I have been a month trying to exchange them. Anel will not return emails or phone calls. At first they said they would send me a return label, but that has not happened. I have given them a month. They also told me to expect inconsistency’s in a hand made produce. I have several pairs of handmade shoes from other manufacturers and they all fit. My handmade suits fit as well. I feel like I have given them every opportunity to make this right and they seem to have no interest. I am extremely unhappy with them and will be filing a complaint through my credit card. I would not recommend doing business with these people."

"I received an unsolicited delivery of a pair of shoes in the mail. I have never heard of the maker/company. There is also a letter attached to the delivery stating that there'll be a 20% discount applied to the next purchase? I then logged into a chat line that's apparently answered but no responses on the chat after posing the question about this mysterious delivery!! very weird and smacks of a con. Awaiting feedback re. this "free" pair of shoes."
