"The condo is great. Excellent view and it had all we needed for our stay. However, the living room furniture was not the most comfortable for me. It could stand to be replaced. Also the mattress in the primary was worn but fairly comfortable. We have stayed at Silver Shells for several years and love the location. We will be back."

"So I personally have not stayed here. But hear me out. I take care of the landscape and I will say from the gate guards to the pool guys and everyone in between are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great place to work at with these wonderful people so I'd assume that the rooms themselves are well kept and the views are awesome. I mean it is Destin Florida."

"Loved this resort, although we booked the room through a Airbnb, not thru the resort. The location was great but under an airport flight way, so would hear loud airplanes every hour while in relaxing in the water. The tiki bar was nice to have on site but the food and drinks were not good. The place was beautiful inside, well designed and felt safe. Couldn't hear any other guests in our condo while we were there, vut not sure we had any neighbors since we went in the slow season. The beaches were beautiful and well kept and chairs and umbrellas to use. I would definitely stay here again."

"There were positives and negatives. I will start with the negatives. We found a cockroach in the bathroom and in the garage area of the complex. This definitely made us uncomfortable and worried. We did report this and received a voicemail from a manager stating they were sorry. The sand bar was supposed to be open during our stay and wasn’t due to construction. This was a bummer. The beds were not very comfy and the pillows either. There was only one area to grill out and it was quite a way from our complex. Would have been nice to have one closer. The complex is located on a very busy route making it a challenge to get in and out of traffic. Positives! Seemed very clean. Absolutely beautiful view of ocean. Nice pool area that was large. Included 2 chairs for beach with our stay. Shower was amazing! Check in simple and check out a breeze. Unit had everything we needed to cook and we didn’t need to buy any toiletries while here except our own shampoo and toothpaste. Close to the beach access and during the time we stayed it was not packed at all making it really nice. I gave it a 5 star because over all this was great. I’m hoping the roach problem will be taken care of for future users."
