Moorings of Carrabelle LLC

"My wife and I decided to take a mini vacation. We are from the east coast of Florida. We can see the rockets from our front yard. Anyways, we traveled 5 hours to the Moorings looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of our area and boy did we find it !!! This is not a 4 star hotel so don't think you are going to get that here. That's not what we wanted. We wanted a simple, quiet and secluded place to stay. We found that here !! The night time guy (got here at 9pm) was super friendly and told us where we could eat breakfast the next morning. The rooms were clean, AC and heater worked. Our backdoor opened up into the Gulf. The only small issue we had was the Kuerig was dirty. You could see dust where you poured the water in the back of it. I was going to take the screed out in the back to clean it but it was screwed in. I was not going to wipe down the screed for the dust to fall into the water resovour. So we went to DG and bought one for $20. We stayed in room 101 which is a corner room which was great because that meant there was only 1 room next to us."

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Moorings! It is under NEW OWNERSHIP and the new owner and staff are very nice! The marina is huge with really nice docks and slips for boats of all sizes. The rooms are great, all with beautiful Marina water views. Nice pool. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. I highly recommend The Moorings and look forward to returning! Thank you for a great stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"This was my first time at this place. Had a group of 4 two nights. The double beds are full size only. Not queen like I asked for. If they would have told me, I would have got 2 rooms. Needs are not comfortable. Nothing on the walls. No phone. Tv did not work. We made 4 trips to the office trying to get a working TV. Nobody showed up to the room. Toilet didn't flush right. You gotta hold the handle and hope for the best. If you wanna sleep in, put the don't disturb sign out.9:15 room service was banging like the police. They had a coffee pot, but the decaf isn't it. Tissue box was empty. But maybe I got a bad room. Night guy was advertising to eat at Phantoms. You can drink, but I don't recommend the food."
