"Got a big chop here. At the end I didnt like how bulky my hair was so i asked the stylist to shave off the back. She said no, that would be a whole other haircut(?? No i just wanted you to shave off the back a bit). So I payed and left. I think they noticed I wasn’t particularly happy with my cut and they offered that I come back tomorrow, but why would I go back to a place that wouldn’t do a trim? I felt rushed and not cared for. Even if there’s a next customer dont rush your current customer out."

"Today I had an hour and a half massge from Nancy. I have a few health issues and need someone who listens to what I need. Nancy went above my expectations. I already rescheduled for my next session. I met the owner Tara and she is lovely. She has an amazing spa. I was so confortable there today. Loved the whole experience"

"Tara was absolutely amazing, phenomenal and knowledgeable. I went in with a disasterous emergency having lost all my hair in the back (18 inches) due to a paste overuse issue and keeping braids in too long. It matted up and had to be cut off!! She consulted with me and didn't make any promises she couldn't keep. I showed her pictures (like we all do) and she was very upfront when she said I wouldn't look like the models in the picture, and then proceeded to tell me why.. Instead explaining what she COULD do. In this respect, I was THRILLED with the results because I was given a realistic expectation, (unlike so many other stylists out there.) I was even thirty minutes late to my appointment and she still squeezed me in and did what she could.... within a limited time frame, explaining that a second visit might be warranted. And yet, I still left there looking and feeling amazing. Tons of compliments everywhere I went. Love her!! I will never go anywhere else again. She's very much a realist and highly experienced in her craft. I also love the online booking where I can pick my own date and time! That's awesome too! I included the "before" pic showing the hair loss in the back of my head... And the after shots."

"I was booked for 31+ foils and toner plus cut. I was hoping to leave with all of my hair lightened along the top portion of my head because I had done the quarantine color a year ago. I wanted most of the foils on the top AND down the length of my hair. I told the stylist the bottom half of the underside of my hair was natural (I lifted it up to show the huge color difference) and I wasn't as concerned with heavy highlighting in that area. She allowed the bleach to sit for over an hour while she still was applying foils to only the roots of my hair. The bleach for my baby lights framing my face had completely dried within a few minutes and are still orange despite 3 soaks and washes with the Redkin Blondage shampoo I bought there. She didn't use any heat to help the process. She didn't use any olaplex products like I had requested, and when I asked about the toner, she said there was no need for it. Shortly after she mentioned my hair was pulling yellow but at this time she was beginning to dry my hair. I had already spent nearly 3 hours in the chair and I knew she wasn't going to be able to make my hair look better. I told her I was not satisfied as I refused further services (my cut and style), I told the cashier, and I asked for the owner/manager to call me bc I didnt want to make a scene. The stylist said the amount of foils she had done was not worth charging me the full amount of $120ish. So I was given a discount then but I wasn't satisfied since the stylist didn't listen to me at all. I'm not a professional but I have been getting my hair lightened for 20+ years and have always had to use toner. I was under the impression that the owner was refunding 50% but after going on my social media with these photos, I think I should be getting all of my money back. I have to go to another salon for a correction. There is no part of the highlighting that was done that is salvageable. The slicing style alone is horrific. I was allegedly sent a refund but it has yet to appear. This is my first review. The owner was insistent on me giving the stylist a second chance but I did that when I repeatedly asked about services that I booked. (And normally come with the bleaching process anyways) This was my second visit with this stylist. My daughter had her hair cut maybe a month earlier and I had to fix that. I didn't call or complain but I should have I guess then in retrospect. The pushiness to allow them to correct my hair was what turned me off the most. As a business owner myself, I would gladly refund 100% or offer my services for a discounted rate. I dont worry about people taking advantage of that because I do a quality job the first time. During the booking for my appt I had asked for anyone but that stylist but I believe it was misunderstood. I cant say I felt very comfortable with my interaction with the owner because she acted as if I was simply unsatisfied with the job and wanted something for free, but clearly this is not just me not liking it. I was told by the owner if she gave 100% refunds, that everyone wouldn't be happy with their hair. Yeah she actually said that. This was my 4th visit I believe and I went in prepared to spend over $300 to get my hair done properly."
