"I have loved JCPenney since I was a kid, but this visit was my last. There were 3 men's dressing rooms in one alcove; one of which was taken by a family that looked like they were moving in. The other two were dark as the lights were not on. Not only would I not be able to see what I was trying on, I was buying black jeans and a black denim jacket, which would basically be invisible in a dark room. I looked around and asked a saleswoman if there was another dressing room and she said, "No, there's one in the men's side". I explained the lights were out in that one and a group of people (4) using the only one with a light on. She was perplexed, but so was I. So I spotted another dressing room in the ladies department. The sign reads, "Fitting Room", Not "Ladies Fitting Room". That saleswoman saw me going in and went nuts, saying, "You can't go in there, it's for ladies"! Yeah, whatever you say, so I went in anyway. In this alcove, there were about 4 stalls and each were completely empty. I explained the lights in the men's area to her again, but she was stupefied. As I was getting uncomfortable I said, "Look, there are no lights in the men's dressing room and there is no one in the so-called ladies dressing room and I'm going in there and I'm going to close the door, just as though it was a bathroom door. No one can see through a wall or a door, this doesn't make sense, and I'm just trying on a pair of jeans and a jacket, so do whatever you want". She then said, "Go ahead", like I needed her permission. When I came out, there was another lady with the saleswoman and they were going in the direction of the men's dressing room to investigate. Why did I have to go though that? The lights were out, see photos. There was no one in the ladies department, much less the dressing room, plus they have doors! It isn't a bathroom. I made the purchase because their price was the best, but then when I got home I didn't want to wear the clothes, as they would remind me of when I bought them and Levi's last for years and some things you don't forget. After a total lack of understanding simple logic and courtesy, I was so displeased with this spectacle I was forced to endure, I returned my purchase at another JCPenney store in a different mall. I will never go into a JCPenney again."

"Joyce was great but she advised that in order to purchase a 14kt white diamond ring I needed to pay the day that I was in and pick up 4 days later. She swore that this has always been the case. I purchased a ring back in 2016 and this was not the case. If I’m paying for jewelry, I take the jewelry home the same day not days later. Been a long time rewards member and this is ridiculous. Oh well, she lost a good commission."

"No shoes over 13 or many 38x34 pants available. Really high prices for basic needs for no reason. Looks like a going out of business kmart store that has surly cashiers. They do not say much to you at all when they take your money after a bad shopping experience of not being able to find out what you came to look for."

"Joann is fabulous. What a kind, patient, wonderful person. I had to do an exchange and simultaneously order a shirt for in-store pickup. She helped me and I was checked out in under 5 minutes. She offers outstanding customer service with a beautiful smile!! She deserves a huge raise!!"

"Ample parking and the staff is quite helpful. But these days these staff is quite less. There seems to be quite a bit of good deals going around. I also use the app for in-store price checking it was an average experience. The place is clean and well maintained. The entrances can be further improved in terms of ease of operation. Anyway a good place."
