"I needed a new bra for an outfit that I was going to wear the next day. The lady who assisted me was so very nice and helpful. She even came into the dressing room to assist me with the proper sizing. That was how shopping used to be, people who actually cared and went the extra mile. That was a great experience, I have not had service like that since the 1990s. She went back and got what she thought would be a great fit after seeming the bras on me first hand, and she was right about the sizing and the style. I left very, very happy as a customer who didn't frequent Macy like I used to. You can tell she had experience and loved what she does, truly old school in handling her customers. Thanks"

"Macys always has what I need in means of variety. I love their selections of dress shirts, pants, and shoes. My wife loves the fragrance area which has better prices than the kiosks do. The watch selection is fair as well as the jewelry area. The employees can be hit or miss but I’ve always had a great experience when purchasing a handbag."

"Macy's is not as inclusive as they'd like us to believe. I needed to get a dress for a formal attire event and they had 0 plus size dresses on the floor. I had to order online, hoping that I like the dress before my event. It would be nice to at least have a few options."

"I have been a devoted Macy's shopper for years, appreciating the consistently high quality of their products across various departments, from beauty and cosmetics to clothing and bedding. However, my recent shopping experiences have left me disappointed, particularly in their plus size merchandise selection. Despite Macy's advertising itself as an inclusive store for everyone, I've observed a significant gap in their representation of the plus size community, especially in-store. The availability of dress or formal wear in sizes over 18 is alarmingly low, often forcing customers to resort to online shopping without the benefit of trying on items for the perfect fit. It's disheartening to see a lack of stylish and up-to-date options for plus-size women. The limited selection appears outdated and reminiscent of clothing designed for an older demographic, resembling styles one might associate with a nursing home rather than a contemporary and inclusive retail environment. Numerous staff members have acknowledged this issue and expressed the desire for a broader range of choices, including cocktail or evening gowns, in the plus size department. However, these improvements have yet to materialize. In my opinion, Macy's is falling short of their promise of inclusivity by not adequately catering to the needs and preferences of plus-size customers, even within a reasonable size range like 1X/2x. A more diverse and up-to-date selection in-store is essential to ensure that all shoppers, regardless of their size, can find fashionable and flattering options that align with current trends and reflect their personal style. Regrettably, if this situation persists, I may have to redirect my business to a retailer that prioritizes and accommodates a more extensive and contemporary selection for the plus size community."

"Macy's Toys R Us such a big disappointment. Toys looks abandoned most popular items are out of stock for weeks and no restock. Sad to see looks Store Manager don't care about family with kidd."
