"I drove an hour to come here in hopes of finding the things that I need and I did not. They didn’t have any of the shoes that I liked in my size. And no I don’t want to have them ordered because I can do that myself.. if I wanted to order clothing online then I would shop online. In-store shopping means that I want to buy it then and there. Again..just like the Belk in Land O’ Lakes, they are all horrible expect for the ones that are in North Carolina. Belk headquarters are there and they are the best there."
"Lakeside Village, Lakeland. Went in during the afternoon to look for a couple of ties. The men’s department was in shambles with unfolded clothes everywhere and debris on the floor. I found a couple ties I wanted and when I went to purchase them the register in the MD was closed so I made my way around to housewares where I know there is another register. Nobody there. I turned and saw an associate walking my way and I asked if there was a place I could actually buy something, she said “I am not sure where this person is but I am sure if you walk to the middle of the store someone there can help you”. I would have thought she would offer to help but no, I had to walk to the middle of the store. When I got to the jewelry counter the clerk was helping someone and told me I may want to try cosmetics as she would be a while. Off I went again, to cosmetics, where I stood for 5 minutes and nobody could be bothered to help. I dropped the ties and left. And the brick and mortars wonder why they are in decline? This is a prime example of “could not give a s&*% about the customer”."
"Very busy durring major sales but that is proof that when this place has sales, they really have them. Shoe selection is sometimes confusing. Find a pair you would like to try and ask an employee to get you your size from the back. A lot of homewares and clothes. Great place to start or finish a shopping day. They push the Belk card pretty hard here. But you dont have to have one for all the sales."
