"I have been a patient here for almost 3 years. Dr. Shah was great. Unfortunately, he retired. Against my better judgment because of problems in the past with incompetent office staff I did decide to see another cardiologist there. Bad decision. Long story but he said he would call in antibiotics for me because my chest was really congested. I had surgery scheduled for the following week to remove my chemo port and I needed to start the antibiotics right away. I must have called 30 times trying to just speak to someone because the medication was never called to pharmacy. Someone finally called me a week later and told me it was against their policy to prescribe antibiotics. That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. I had to reschedule surgery. I'm not from this area, and Im in need of a cardiologist now. I will not go back here"
"I was recently in the hospital for.persistent AFib. I was seeing dr. Labroo, however I was prescribed a medication called amiodrarone when I got this medicine I decided to read the info on it, THANK THE GOOD LORD I DID! It stated in the first tiny paragraph that patient must be in hospital and closely monitored when first put on this medication. So I called the dr. No one returned my call so I made a decision not to take it. I had to go to ER and let the doctor know about this medication that I was subscribed so you said since your here I’ll administer it and make sure everything’s ok. Well it wasn’t I went into anaphylactic shock immediately! She said had I taken this medicine at home I more than likely would have died. This was not only terrifying but my dr at the time Labroo had the nerve to come in my room tell me that was going to be the medication I was going to have to be on. So needless to say he is no longer my doctor. However thanks to my new cardiologist Dr. Dllargo I’m finally on the right tract. He’s put me on a couple a medications that work great together and I’m alive. He’s a very smart and kind person who takes time to explain everything that is happening to you and answers all your questions. I suggest to people who are seeing him for the first time to make sure all of your medical files are sent to him before you go because he’s not a mind reader. He doesn’t know anything about you so you can’t go in stating you’ve had a heart issues he needs to see the problems your having. He’s not the kinda doctor that’s going to write scripts without proof. As for the staff their great very polite and helpful. I’d give them 10 stars if I could."
"My husband had a massive heart attack 2 years ago. He has been a patient there ever since. This place has changed dramatically since previous staff left. Ignacio Gallardo is the doctor he is seeing now, and my husband is having serious issues. This doctor told him, "how do I know you had a heart attack, I wasn't there!" Also, he told my husband to go to church on Sunday and pray for God to heal him! My husband tried to tell him how bad his heart hurts, and he wouldn't listen, instead he wants to put him on a total of eleven medications after telling him nothing was wrong. Then, they send him bills that he already paid!, thank God he kept his receipts! Avoid this place, especially if you get stuck with Gallardo! RUN!!"
"After reading several of your responses to other google reviews it seems to me that not only are there many issues with your services in general but that your efforts at making needed improvements is also failing short. I offer my review after several years of being a patient. This past year and a half I have experianced one issue after another. Examples inculde either no answer to my phone calls, long holds or simply being disconnected. Recently you called me for an appointment in about 2 days, this was shortly after I had seen your specialists. This concerned me so I made it a point to be there. The doctor asked me what I was there for. Apparently, this appointment was a duplicate from the one I had days earlier and had been double scheduled. I cannot help but wonder if it was billed to my insurance. Another is your office cancelling the apartments that they scheduled, repeatedly. The most recent one has been canceled two times with long waits for another appointment. When the last one was made, I was told they would just double schedule me but today now even that one was just canceled. When I look at my medical records online, I see several issues. One is that I have given the office typed updated medication list several times yet what they show remains grossly incorrect. I also see where its is shown with almost every visit that I have been counseled about weight. My guess is this must be some insurance or codeing requirement however over the years I do not recall but only one time has this even remotely been mentioned and then think I brought it up them that I had gained some a little weight. If I recall correctly what was said back was that we all like to eat or something like that. While I do not like to make changes unless necessary, the reason I have been seeing this group has not been for a common cold but for the life and death risk related Cardiovascular issues. Using my best judgement when they cancelled my appointment again, a second time, I asked them to remove me from their schedule and not to call me again as I would be finding a competent provider."
"I just had the most pleasant conversation with April. We spoke yesterday regarding a prescription refill. She explained to me that she would need to reach out to the doctor and would follow-up with me today. I did indeed receive a return phone call early this morning! Her customer service was spot on! She is an asset to the office and clearly recognizes the importance of doing what you say!"
