"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Brought my puppy in critical condition when they are listed as an emergency hospital and after they had me sitting there wasting precious moments of my Pets life that was in jeopardy they decided to tell me that they could not see her because their schedule didn’t allow for it. Not to mention there was NO ONE ELSE in the waiting room. This is truly unacceptable and I will be contacting the owner. Disgraceful."

"While I do not have a pet that I personally take here, I work for a pet services company and have taxied several furbabies here on several occasions for boarding, treatment and grooming, the staff is always so helpful and on top of things and communicates well with the owners. My experience has been wonderful each time."

"I have been in the veterinary field for 30 years. I have known of Dr. Strauss but never met him before. My guinea pig was really sick and they were able to see her the same day I called. Hospital was clean, staff was nice and Dr. Strauss was great. And my piggy is doing fantastic."

"I was searching online for an animal hospital to take my 9-year-old chihuahua to, who had a massive tumor growing. We were highly recommended by a friend to try out Weston Road Animal Hospital for this type of procedure. Initially, I was happy after my 1st visit (although I did feel the hospital was a bit pushy with trying to squeeze as much money out of me) from the day my dog was having the tumor removed to thereafter for the follow up appointment, it was really all about the money. Post-surgery and recovery, I had to return for the follow up appointment (my dog’s staple removal) which once again, they tried offering other services to charge me for something... A little apprehensive, I was still willing to give them another try for future items (i.e. dental cleaning and vaccines). I noticed a month ago there were still some staples left in my dog that had not been removed during my follow up visit. I tried emailing the office to ask if this was intentionally done and to find some answers, I was left ignored. I then called to make an appointment to come back in to remove those staples. Upon my arrival, I was barely greeted by the front desk and when leaving – not even an apology from the office or Doctor. I understand things happen and mistakes come up from time to time but this is my only dog, I put my trust in this hospital with her and even after all this, a simple “sorry” or “how can we help make this better” for the inconvenience – would have really gone a long way, especially after spending roughly $2,000.00+ at this location. I unfortunately cannot recommend them to my friends and family at this time. Placing the review here as advice to those who have pets, ensure you meet and consult with multiple doctors and gather more than one estimate when it comes to surgery."

"It was my first visit to the Weston Road Animal Hospital. I took my female budgie Maya because she was acting a bit strange. Not only was I accommodated on the same day, but the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional! Maya was treated by Dr. Strauss. He was so gentle with her. In less than one hour I was highly educated on some of the budgie behaviors and their specific diet! Incredible! Thank you, Dr. Strauss and the entire Weston Road Animal Hospital family!"
