"This location was good. I have no issues. 20 years ago I had to take my family cat to go to heaven and when they did the process the cat screamed so loud 20 years later today I’m still very traumatized . They did tho perform the care and it was the only option. After it was over they left the cat with me in the room to help me stop crying. When about 15 min passed a tech came in and saw I was in a lot of emotional pain. She asked would I like a coffee. I told her what I liked and she went next door ordered the coffee. I would say I was in the room for a total with the coffee for 45min. When I finally controlled myself I told them rhey can take the cat. I am here not to talk ill but to let you know even tho it was a traumatic experience the staff assisted me. Thank you."

"If i could give them a zero star I would, I've been taking my pets there for years always had great service but now they don't call you back for answer the phone. If you need reliable pet care AVOID. AVOID AVOID Keene Vet."

"I had very high hopes with Keene Veterinary Hospital after all of the good reviews. However, I have been disappointed. The first visit (just a wellness check up and vaccines for my dog) was met with a crazy busy lobby. There wasn't a place to sit as all the chairs were taken by people waiting. Trying to fill out paperwork while standing and holding onto a lease was difficult to say the least.. We also waited 30 min past the appt time before we were seen. I figured it was a busy day, but what happened last week solidified that I will not be back. My dog was sick, vomiting every 30 min for 24 hours. She wasn't able to keep food down, so I called to see if I could bring her in. They didn't have any availability, but put aside some food that would be easier for my dog to digest. When I tried the special food, my dog was still not able to keep it down. After 36 hours of vomiting, I called to get an appt scheduled ASAP. I was told there was again no availability, but could "possibly" walk in, aka no guarantee to be seen. Otherwise, could schedule an appt a few days later. This is not acceptable!! My dog was clearly sick, dehydrated, and needed to be seen. I asked for the front desk to ask the vet as there had to be time to schedule an emergency visit, but she refused. I ended up calling another vet nearby and they were able to get my dog in same day. The other vet confirmed my dog was in bad condition and it was good she was seen when she was. Keene will no longer be my vet. The front desk clearly doesn't care about the actual health of your animal."

"When my vet retired, I was recommended to Keene by several of my friends. My experience there has been great. Front office is always cordial & helpful and both my dogs vet's take the time totalk with you and explain things. I would highly recommend Keene Veterinary Hospital."
