The staff are always professional and helpful. I walked in there one evening 5 minutes before they were closing to get an antibiotic script filled and they didn’t even hesitate to fill it right then, never even considered telling me to come back in the morning. You would NEVER get service like this at CVS. Best pharmacy in town."

"To address your response: I have no idea what you’re talking about. I don’t take any other medications so what could it possibly interact with? And a controlled substance? It’s a pharmacy. Pharmacies fill all types of controlled substances every day. The explanation you’ve given as to why you can’t be my new pharmacy doesn’t make sense. I wish I understood the issue because I liked going there a lot more than Walgreens. I have no insurance and it was cheaper for sure. Thank you for filling my prescription as a “one time courtesy” which was really two times. It’s going to be a pain to have my doctor transfer my last prescription back over to Walgreens. I asked the guy at the counter before transferring it two months ago if I could get all 3 filled there so I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket to see my doctor again and he assured me if it was in stock I could get it. I would have NEVER used this pharmacy if you couldn’t fill it the 3 times. It’s extremely inconvenient. At first I was so happy to have found a place that not only carried my prescribed medication but for less than $100. I’ve been on medicine for ADHD for 10+ years but recently lost my insurance after having a baby. I now pay out of pocket which forced me to switch from Vyvanse to a cheaper yet harder to get alternative medicine. When I went to pick up my last prescription the woman taking care of me said loudly, “Do you want to talk to her or do you want (whatever the other guys name is) to do it”? That was beyond unprofessional and made me worry instantly. I understand the shortage issue but was basically told they won’t be able to continue to refill my medication unless I have two or more other medications to fill there. The explanation was vague and honestly I just felt extremely uncomfortable and judged at that point. I cried when I got to the car. All of this over a prescribed medicine? Maybe a better explanation as to why I have to go searching all over Manatee county again to find the medication I need would be helpful. I am so stressed out!"
