"The lady got to our table pretty quick and the cook but the food had absolutely no flavor from the scallops to the shrimp to the rice nothing. It's pretty bad when you have to salt your own food and put soy sauce in it to make it have flavor. My scallops were so overcooked they were like rubber and the shrimp was also. Rice was overcooked and so dry. We will not come again"

"We eat here 2-3x a year for my bday/fathers/… with my daughters. We always dig the steak/shrimp/chicken and the service is great! Such a fun atmosphere, they hibachi it up right in front of ya. Humorous chefs are cool. Been going her for 15 years. They work well with my daughter’s egg allergy too. Is my fave place to eat."

"Came here for my birthday. Had a great cook, food was mediocre, but the waitress was horrible. I sat with nothing to drink for over 30 minutes and had to ask another waitress to get my waitress so I could get a refill. I had to get my own Togo boxes and had to go find the waitress to ask for my bill that had an automatic 20% gratuity that she definitely did not earn. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told he wasn't there. We live in Mandarin and drive all the way over here because we used to really enjoy this restaurant but the quality of the service has definitely declined. I can find somewhere else to spend my $200.00 next time. Super disappointed!!!!"

"This used to be one of my favorite places, but this is the second terrible and uncomfortable experience I have had if you are a person of color beware the first time I watched them overlook me and greet a white family although I was there waiting 15 minutes prior to them entering the building I had to insert myself, so I was not overlooked and luckily the family said she was here first, because they still tried to over talk me and speak to the other family first the second time the greeter was very rude. I was very gracious, very polite, she did not crack a smile cut me off and seemed to rush me out as I was picking up a to go order. It's very disheartening it makes you feel on comfortable and out of place I will no longer be supporting this business and I'm sure they will be happy to hear it as I feel they do not want people of color in their establishment. There was a literal look of disgust while I interacted with her it was awful."

"Darumas seems to have gotten the magic of a great meal a good atmosphere and great service combined together for a wonderful evening out. My wife and I have been dining here for years and have long since given up grill table to the quiet of the table dining experience. We always get a great meal and very very good service. The shrimp and scallops bring us back over and over. We have pretty much tried the whole menu over the years and never had a bead meal here. Prices have slowly gone up and this restaurant is not easy on the wallet, but worth it to me."
