About the Business
The Humane Animal Care Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and support for animals in need. Located at 105951 Overseas Highway in Key Largo, Florida, our mission is to promote the welfare and well-being of all animals through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption services. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that every animal receives the love and care they deserve. "WORST PLACE! I never had such a horrible experience with any other shelter, the receptionist started asking about personal information where we stay, family relationships etc calling us liars, honestly looking at the reviews it seems that this is not her first time doing this. I don’t know how they continue to let this happen, horrible customer service."
"We took our little dog to be neutered and just picked him up. Dealing with the center was a complete pleasure from the time we called to make the appointment to the time the procedure took place. We were given great guidance. The center is immaculate and every one we dealt with was friendly and professional. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog."
"Marsha is lovely she cares so much for the animals. This is her life honestly. She can attend your pet at home or you can bring it to the shelter. Once or twice a month they Sprays & Neuter for free at the shelter. If you are an upper key resident please call and make an appointment to help your pets and others. If you go around 11 or so you can take a cat to the playroom at no cost; or a dog to the play area. There is too many animals that need a 4ever home. Plenty of parking and kids friendly. I forgot to mention it’s very clean and it doesn’t smell like a shelter. If you would like to make a donation just contact Marsha the director. Today is July 25th and there is a Husky available for adoption among beautiful cats & dogs. MM106"
"Please visit this wonderful shelter to consider adopting your next fur baby. Marsha and her team were wonderful. Extremely clean and the animals are taken very very good care of. We found a beautiful dog that has now made our house a home. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who take care of these animals and give them care and love."
