Denny's

"Had an early dinner here as it was convenient and reasonably priced. We were not expecting too much, after all, Dennys is great for breakfast, but these places aren't usually good for lunch or dinner, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Food was good, service excellent and prices very affordable. Bearing in mind that this location is surrounded by many restaurants of varying quality, all at the much higher price point of the Keys. This is a wonderful alternative for families wanting selection at a more reasonable price. Rosa, our server, was friendly and efficient, and the nice manager visited our table to inquire if we were happy with our meal. Highly recommended!"

"One server took my table from the original server. My new server then up charged for fries, which was on the list of sides, without mentioning it. She said that the hot chocolate had no refills, so I would have to pay for each cup. Then treated me sarcastically when I said I was thirsty and switched to a soft drink. She was sure to charge for both, after all I should have known that there was no refills of flavored hot water. Proof that a decent entree doesn't make up for terrible service."

"A decent place in all respects. Clean, roomy, and a seasoned staff. I was thinking there may be issues when I rolled up, because there was only one car (an employee) in the parking lot. Ordered our food and drinks w/in 2 minutes and 13 minutes later was eating. My wife got a steak and I have to say it was cooked perfect. The chef took the time to come out front and specifically ask how the steak tasted. It's apparent he's wise in the aspect of cooking a steak and letting it sit for a few minutes before serving. I had chicken fried steak and it was great. Denny's as a whole might be a chain, but these folks down in Key Largo do their best to give you a quality service and meal, especially here. Thank you for reinvigorating a desire to eat at Denny's again."

"Had to change my review from 5 stars to 2 because of the service I received today. It took 25 minutes to get our drinks and order taken. My server wasn’t wearing a name tag. I arrived 6/28 at 12pm. The server forgot my mother’s meal so when our party of 8 got served, she was left without food. The server apologized and brought us her food to go. She took off two cups of $2 coffee from our bill, maybe she thought she was doing me some kind of favor? My mother’s food was $12 and did not arrive at all till we were leaving. She forgot several things like my sister’s pancakes and toast, and i was beginning to think she forgot our drinks too but it just took forever. Last time I eat at this Denny’s"
