"2nd store in a row here with a "bathroom out of order". The old lady there was really smug about it. Should be fired."

"In trying to purchase a Family Dollar gift card as requested on a teen's gift list, the initial clerk helped me find the card, but was unable to enter the dollar amount as I tendered her cash. She assured that I had to use a credit card. As I stood there reluctant to leave without the requested gift card, she remembered an older and more experienced clerk and call her to the front. This woman immediately said no problem, but of course they began to arise. The gift card would not scan the desired amount and there were no more cards available. The ultimate solution was to manually install the long numerical sequence on the back of the gift card. So now I have the desired card looking rumpled and battered and with an attached note to use that sequence when purchasing. Here's hoping using it will go more smoothly than purchasing it. MERRY CHRISTMAS."
