"Dr. Mitchell Kroungold charged me $10,200.00 for two weeks of work. He would not release my report for over 2 months until I made a final payment of $2500.00. He had my husband and I come back for testing twice to still say that the results were inconclusive. He is outdated and has no idea what medications are controlled. His report was biased and was not factual. He does not use up to date lab analytics and completely relies on what a local lab that he highly recommends dictates what he puts in his reports. His office in Clearwater is filthy. There was a dead roach under the children's play table in the lobby as well as dead insects around the receptionist's window. I would not take any child with asthma or severe allergies to this office. Please read all of his reviews on WebMD, vitals, healthgrades, sharecare, ratemds, findatopdoc, and google before you the same mistake I did."

"Do not let this predatory sociopath near your family for any reason. He does not follow the parenting plans. He does not view the custody software to check if the other parent is lying. He does no fact checking. He directly contributed to family conflict that caused our family great expense and severe distress. He has no way to ferret out a pathological liar or abuser. He is misogynistic. He failed in his duty involving mandated reporting for medical negligence. This guy has absolutely no business being in this business. He’s all about taking your money, bottom line."

"Doctor Kroungold is knowledgeable and compassionate. I’ve never had a therapist in my life and felt very embarrassed to go seek one. But as soon as I met Doctor Kroungold , I felt comfortable and was actually looking forward to seeing him every week. He explained so much about behavior and patterns that negatively effect our lives. Things he said made total sense. I didn’t have an insurance at the beginning , so I was able to use sliding scale and reduce price per session. His secretary Bonnie is a sweetheart. So nice and friendly. I highly recommend this office to everyone."

"Went in for a consultation today. Called ahead and made an appointment. Everything was fine. I show up for my consultation and Mr kroundgold Starts asking questions as to me being in a therapy session. I answer his questions politely. He then asks how I plan on paying for the session. Dumbfounded I tell him I was not planning on paying for a consultation. I also tell him you did not say there was a consultation fee. Before I could even say anything else he cuts me off from speaking and says I do not work for free and opens his door as to tell me to get out. The guy was a real arrogant jerk. Sad thing was is that I was not even there for me. I was there for my son to see if Mr kroundgold would be okay to speak with my son. I can assure you as a parent of two children I would never leave my children with this guy. Just the way he was talking to his secretary before I even met with him I was off put. Maybe these good reviews are from the people seeking help. Because the review I am giving is from a person with there stuff together. I don't typically ever write a poor review. So just me taking the time to write this I can assure you there was no misunderstanding. Always check out who you intrust your children to. Then the guy had the nerve to tell me good luck with my problem. I can sure you he did not mean good luck and probably believed without his help I was surely doomed. I really can't say anything more as to my bewilderment of this person."
