Panama City Surgery Center

"I am scheduled for shoulder surgery on 1/24/24 and completed my medical passport on 1/11/24. Suddenly on 1/19/24 couple hours before the end of business day the pre ops nurse called me (only because I called on 1/18/23 to question why no one contact me yet to give me instructions for current medication I am taking). So, when the nurse called me on 1/19/24 as mentioned above very late, she started to questions be just like if I am suspect and the acted like interrogator waiting for me to say something to use it against me and cancel my surgery, which she did make her wish comes through. I told her I answered the questions wrong and I can correct it and she refused just like FBI interview once they trap someone and use what he/she said against the person just to close the case. I always know there is good & bad people no matter what, the good people they always try to help and facilitate help to make things happen because they have pure sole and they feel happy to they help anyone, and there is the nad who thinks because they are having a position and because they feel insecure to hold this position so they always refuse to help under the name of I do my work per the policy!!! ( The Nurse I met was one of those ). I asked her give me in writing the refusal to do the surgery but she kept running around in a circle repeating her statement again and again. Basically she said the Anesthesia Doctor refuse to perform Anesthesia until I see Cardio and get release letter. So, I ask who ever read this review is this possible to see a cardio in a short notice? Surgery on 1/24/24 and Anesthesia request release from cardio on 1/19/24 (Friday @ 02:30 EST). Do you think I will get my Cardio or any Cardio in the region to see me within one day of the surgery and issue this letter? or this means the Anesthesia wants to ( CYA ) because not sure of him/her self? healthcare become a business just like any other business in life the rich wants to stay rich and never lose ( just like buying new car they lay down red carpet to buy & when the car brake under warranty they try to confidence you is not covered under warranty so they make more money from you). Unfortunately, The surgeon Dr. Mead is an awesome person but I guess he is using this facility to perform surgeries and this place staff few of them not good."

"The staff and medical professionals at PCSC are phenomenal! I was treated with care and with the utmost respect. Jana was my preop nurse and made sure I was comfortable. I would like to give a shout out to the post op folks but I really don't remember much. Lol. Highly recommend!"

"As much as I was scared for my 3 year old son to have oral surgery, they kept me updated every step up the way and answered every possible question I had before hand! Although I did feel a little rushed out they were very busy that morning and considering it was not a hospital with more post op rooms and kids bounce back fast I was not upset about it! I forgot my son's shoes they called to see if they were his then mailed them to me with 2 little goodies in the box! They also called the next day to see how he was doing!! I am very pleased with their service and will recommend them to everyone I know!!"

"The facility is very clean. I has a endoscopy done (Dr. Maciej Tumiel) and I am a extremely anxious person so much my pulse jumped sky high before putting me to sleep. The staff was so calming and made me feel at ease. Everyone was so nice from check in all the way through. I like that place. I’ll definitely go back and next time I won’t be so nervous."
