True Health - Sanford

"I am very disappointed with true health right now. I have been bringing my mom to this establishment for over 20 years and yes she is an established patient. Being a Medicare recipient she has the option to go to many different providers who accepts Medicare. But she has been seeing Dr. Oowouder, and she and I like Dr Oowouder. But some of the staff that works there, just work because it is a job. My mom needed the first appointment in the afternoon if available, because that is when I can bring her. We were told that spot is for new patients and hospital followup. What hogwash is this? If the time is open, then they leave it that way for new patients. What? It is already like pulling teeth just to get an appointment. I think that they are leaving all these open spots for illegal immigrants. I only take my mom there because of Dr Oowouder, if not I will not take here back and will not recommend to anyone else."

"I have been coming to true health for a long time. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. The providers are all amazing at all locations. True health sees everyone no matter what ethnicity you are. At the Sanford location the center manager is amazing and her front staff. The check in process is easier and updated for a faster check in process. The medical assistants are amazing and work great with the providers to assist you with any questions you might have. The referral department is great at making sure your referral is sent to the specialist. I love that they have someone on site if you have questions or want to pick up your referral. They always seem to find a Yes!"

"Not sure about these bad reviews because I had a great experience. I was a late for my appt, but they saw me anyway and the woman at the desk was so nice! Saw GYN Dr Theresa and she was amazing! She completely took her time with me and listened to all my concerns and answered every question. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend her and this location in general."

"Not a good company to work for. they hardly have that many patients lots of down time and just want you to stand there and try to create work because they are not busy enough and also they don’t care if you have emergencies with your family and kids they just would rather you stay there just to fill one or 2 prescriptions a hour. The director Marlo tries to come off as if she is so nice but she is very well not a person of understanding. I asked her if I can leave a hour early to attend my kid open house she had the nerve to get online to see if he really had open house like I live all the way in Orlando and there was no more work plus 2 other technicians not doing much"
