I went to him as a kid and absolutely despised how he had no respect for my psychical boundaries and made rude comments about my weight, as well as constantly over-perscribing antibiotics . Now, many years later my good friend is telling me about how her doctor completely dismissed, degraded and devalued her for her weight when she came in with medical concerns, saying she was just fat and bloated when in reality she has a serious internal cyst of about 13 inches. Come to find, unshockingly, that said doctor is perez. DO NOT GO TO HIM. PLEASE! He should go to prison for medical malpractice in my opinion."

"My children were patients years ago, before online reviews were available. I was not surprised by all of the negative reviews and am, actually, surprised that he is still practicing. Thankfully, at the time there was a wonderful NP on staff that, after two appointments with this obnoxious man, through my request, took over with my children’s care. Dr. Perez was so inappropriate on so many levels. He was (strongly) sharing political opinions without any prompt, whatsoever. He was going on and on about his issues with the administration of that time. (Again neither my husband nor I or my small children mentioned anything political) He vented on and on throughout the appointment, dismissing an actual MEDICAL concern that I had with one of my children, to find out from other practitioners that it actually was a real medical issue that needed addressing. If you are new to the area and in search of a pediatrician, look elsewhere. He was, as my daughter had put it so perfectly at the time, really creepy."

"I speak from my experience with Dr. Pérez, he is a person with zero empathy at the moment, he can be very rude, I decided to change my son's doctor since in the last consultation the man did not look me in the face. he made fun of my worries about my son. The office staff said the opposite, they were always very kind and willing to help me at all times, something that the doctor did not do. He teaches future pediatricians hopefully they learn only the good. he has more than 40 years of experience but he is useless if his patients are not happy"
