"In 2008, my husband and I had our first son. He was born premature at 26 weeks. After spending 3 months in the NICU, he was discharged, as healthy as can be expected. He had a lot going on still. We were instructed to see a Pediatrician within 1 week of his disharge, and were recommended to a Doctor in Florida Hospital. Our first visit was not only dissappointing but terrifying, as the Dr was not in and the Dr who did see us, had not bothered to look at our sons records prior to entering the room. We were greeted with "So, what are you here for?". All we could think was "Well our son just spent 3 months in a NICU, he has had every illness known to Preemies, we want to make sure he is a good hands, and you haven't bothered to look at his file?" One of the nurses who saved his life in the NICU recommended Lake Mary Pediatrics. We made an appointment, we were seen by Dr. Rogue, and we haven't looked anywhere since. Dr. Rogue entered the room, introduced himself, then proceeded to verbally review every ailment and illness our son had been through in the past 3 months. He had taken the time to read his file, and was very well versed with all of our sons medical conditions. I remember crying, because I was so happy and relieved! Every Dr, we have ever been seen by at Lake Mary Pediatrics has been just as thorough. We have never had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Landis, but we can certainly say he runs a well oiled machine. His staff (including the receptionists and Office Manager) are a phenomenal team. Whenever I have needed paper work, it has all been handled in a timely fashion. It's unfortunate that anyone feels negatively about LM Peds, we think they are wonderful and and feel our son, who is 17 months old now and 100% healthy, is in the very best hands!"
